Thanks for sharing that, but it's not exactly related to what I asked.

' Wrote:I use a Vigilante character with a BMM IFF. You need to think about what's considered "lawful". Corporations are also lawful, so the description allows you to use their IFFs. Corps are also able to travel wherever they trade, so if you're a vigilante with that IFF you can go wherever they can go.

Indeed, that's what I was considering as well. For some reason the BHG affiliation never occurred to me even though it does appear to be more fitting than a corporate one.

To relate this line of thought to the OP, since I would be going for a Sirius-wide ZoI, the only companies that come into consideration are the IC and the ALG. However, it would be eerie to hunt criminals under a trash manager IFF and the IC is not exactly the most suitable choice due to the sole reason that I wouldn't need to leave my own company to find criminals and corruption.

All in all, the BHG IFF is indeed the most fitting.

' Wrote:Back in my [HA] days, we used liberty police IFF and were bound to the Liberty house. I guess having a BHG IFF should expand your ZoI, but I don't know for sure. The ID is pretty useless though, it could really use a fix. Like I mentioned, in the [HA], most of our chars were ex-navy, but we had no chance obtaining guardians without making an SRP. A white cell with house militaries and polices would be nice, or at least allow us to use their ships but not their guns (to avoid 4 heimdall+firekiss sabres).

The point you raised sounds logical in light of game mechanics, yet I somehow never considered the possibility of giving military grade vessels to third party assets. It's an iconic representation of the said faction more than the guns, I think. Weapons could work though as a gift of good will, as I understand all factions are protective of their heavy hitters anyway.

Regardless, we can both agree on the fact that the Vigilante ID could use some love. I hope the introduction of new civilian-grade weaponry will solve this issue in the Next Mod™ anyway, along with any other issues that may surface.
