I kill a lot of people in Galileo. Most of them are Pirate Transports farming NPCs for Cassini. Some of them are very silly. Most of them are very silly. But you know, I guess that's okay. They've never had to interact with another person, since the Jump Hole to Cassini is 18k from an NPC farming spot in the same system.
Gold. Luxury Foods. H-Fuel. Polymers. Take your pick. All in Galileo. 18k + 10k from their selling point. Does that seem okay to anyone else? Leiden, the other closest base, is double the distance from the relative safety of Cassini. Double the distance through an asteroid field. Padua, which buys many of the same goods, is triple the distance easily, again through an asteroid field. Farming NPCs is really safe there right now. Really, really safe.
I hate to say something I might regret, but I'm the only person who plays an antagonist for these people there. There is no chance of being pirated. There is little chance of any Navy coming there, and the NPCs are laughable. No one is there to pirate them. The only chance of dying is the sight of Pumpernickel.Reaver laughing his way down the trade lane asking for cranberries or fuel costs.
So what do I think we should do? Well a temporary solution is to use FLHook to set the prices of pretty much every good in San Quentin to 5 cr. No one really trades there anyway.
After that, move the jump hole next to Padua. The Xeno Guard system has a similar setup. I doubt anyone would complain about that. It's even a little more convenient for setup.
TL;DR: lots of NPC farmers in Galileo. Turn down prices in Cassini (temporarily). Move the Jump Hole to Padua.
PS: Now that I made a post about it, more people know and more people farm, so either Ima get a lot richer off the Kusari Bounty Board, or there are just going to be a lot of farmers.
