My name is Adman Dresner, son of Gunter Dresner a Kruger Minerals Transport Pilot. My mother's name is Jolanda Dresner, a dressmaker.
I was born and raised in the city Paska, on planet Baden Baden in the Stuttgart system.
My father currently works for Kruger Minerals and pilots a transport ship he named after our home city of Paska. (You may have spoken to him or spotted his ship as he transports cargo to and from Rheinland - a very friendly man). He has worked tirelessly for many years to try and give his children a good education in Germanic society and has encouraged each one of us to find his/her own path in Rheinland.
My sister (also named Jolanda, after our Mother, but married into the Bergmann family) works as a transport escort for Kruger Minerals. You may have seen her flying around also from time to time.
Jolanda taught me all about the value of guarding precious things (not just cargo, but human life) and values honor and integrity above all. These things have rubbed off on me over time. My father was the same. He taught me that compassion goes a long way, and showing people respect is a great way to make friends and gain influence.
I have helped to pilot my father's transport since I was 18 (so that's about 19 years), and have even been allowed at the helm of my sister's escort ship when it's been an exceptionally quiet day, so I do know something about piloting. I only have very limited actual combat experience, but I'm sure I can learn extremely quickly. I HAVE had time in combat simulators on my home planet. These were set up by the Rheinland Military for recruitment purposes. I didn't like the idea of going into the Military though, it takes you too far away from home. I really like the idea of serving closer to my home, thus the reason I've applied for this position.
I am teachable, and approachable. I am friendly like my father, but can be firm (but fair) like my sister.
I relish at the chance to serve the Rheinland Federal Polizei, as they have served my family well in the past. They have protected us when we've been pirated, given us friendly remarks as we've passed by (even waving from the cockpit windows from time to time. I would like to offer my services as a Kadet, so that I may (in some way) pay back the kindness the Polizei have shown me.
"Time is credits" my father says, and I want to make sure pilots like him (and my sister) are given all the time they need..... time to do their jobs and live their lives safely, until the unfortunate day they eventually pass away of old age, not at the hand of some trigger-happy pirate. I'd rather put my own life on the line for people such as these.
