Give it a few mins to buff, it does that to me too.

The scorp pilot may not be as 'skilled' as me, but that just goes to prove that the ship is not 'too' overpowered.

Besides, the scorpion is designed to be powerful. It is meant to be feared and only attacked in large numbers or by crazy pilots. I like them, I don't have one, but I don't complain when one kills me, because I know they get killed much more than I do. I think of them like you would think of a "Boss" in any other game. Rare and a true challenge.
