' Wrote:Waratah asked me personally, after his first tempban, if he could post using one of his alternate accounts. I told him that as long as the tempban was in effect, he could not post in any thread, with any account. He complied.
After Waratah's last ban, he posted using an alternate account. The Moderators chose to tempban his alternate account, Mimic, the one he used to violate his tempban.
I understand the frustration Waratah must have felt to be tempbanned. However, he had full knowledge of the rules and chose to violate them anyway.

In the "Moderator Notices" topics, moderators as well as admins will publicly post the tempbans that they have issued to players. To avoid causing clutter and an unnecessary long topic, only moderators, admins and the suspended member will be allowed to post in these topics.
Does green beat yellow? Are the rules unclear enough to give Waratah the benefit of the doubt? If any other member had read that and posted, would they have been banned? I doubt it, but eh.
I think there is confusion, or at least ambiguity over whether you can post or not in your own sanction thread during your sanction to request clarification.
I mean sure, you can contact Administrators on PM, but there is no transparency with that system at all. And posting in your thread after the sanction is over makes you look like a trouble-maker that cannot accept their sanction. The community's society operates that way. The system as it is now does not permit much questioning by the sanctioned to openly contest their sanction and have it reviewed.
