As far as usin' only Molly tech, if dat's the loine ye want te follow, ye'll git no arguments fre me. But don' fergit dat the Separatists dun forged an agreement wi' them Unioners o'er in Rheinland dat allows us the use o' foive Arbeiters. Oi 'as wun o' dem mesel', dough oi aint shure 'ow many udders be floiyin'. Don' be afreared te be usin' ships o' udder factions ye moight wanna do dealin's wi'. Jus' make shure ye does it wi' plenty o' RP. The odd Arbeiter, or Falcata, or Switchblade, or Loki, or Thor, or Odin in yer fleet's gunna add a wee bit o' spoice te the mix. So long as yer main body o' ships be Molly, den any naysayers kin jus' go dunk deyre 'eads, eh! Oi flois a Roc mesel' dese days cus oi loikes the 'andlin' better dan whut ye git wi' a Barghie. Don' git me wrong, the Barghie's a foine ship an' all, ye jus' wants te be usin' the roight tool fer the job.

Do a wee bit more wurk on 'ow youse lads has cum te the fore an' all. Whut were youse doin' whoile the Molly Repubic were leadin'? Whut were ye doin' when the Molly Separatists was runnin' tings? Why has yer group decoided dat ye needs te take up the reigns o' power? Details loike dis 'elps folks know whut ye're about.

An' talk te Linkus, an' 'Mike' an' Bucket. Dese lads ha' bin involved wi' the Mollies fer a long whoile. Dey knows the lore insoide an' out.

There's a couple of things for me to say. First, be nasty to any non Molly you find pirating in Bretonia without direct permission from your faction. Bretonia is your territory, and if anyone wants a slice of your pie, make sure they pay you handsomely for the priviledge. Rogues and Hessians should be the only ones exempt from this. Mollies are terrorists. Act like it, as much as the ID allows.

Then there's the problem posed by the SCRA. Mollies have always been friendly with the SCRA as they have often helped us against the BAF, assorted hunters, Corsairs and the like. But they don't like civilians being shot at, and that's something the Mollies have been doing since time imemorial. Keeping "in" with the SCRA is a balancing act.

As far as what tech you use goes, if you only ever use Molly tech, that's ok. But making RP deals is a good thing, as long as they're limited. Don't have fleets of Sabres, or Falcata's for example, but a few unusual ships can only ever add a bit of spice to the mix. I fly an Arbeiter (fully RPd with the Unioners). I also fly a Roc as I find it's better for my style of play than the Barghest is. Basically I'm better able to run away in it.

Finally your background lore needs lots of work putting into it. Where has your group come from? Where were you when the Molly Republic was leading? Where were you when the Molly Separatists were leading? Why have you decided now is the right time for your group to seize the reigns of power?

I'd advise you talk to 'Mike' and Linkus and Bucket about Molly lore, if you haven't done so already. The more input you get from long standing (I'm talking years here) Mollies, the better you'll be able to make your faction.
