She kept crouching for some time, as if ignoring him. Her hand was slightly moving in the water. After a moment Flora got up.

- Good idea. - she took off her mask, now remembering the pile of sweets in her pocket. - I suppose this is the time some... airborne friends of ours should appear as well. - she replied after eating a candy and putting her mask back on.

- Aha, that's what I thought about. - he giggled with a mix of worry and joy in it and cleaned his clothes from the sand before walking off in the direction they came from.

She followed him with a slight delay, and had to catch up.

- I just hope they won't scratch my paint. It's sort of brand new after my ship got burned last time. - she was looking around, admiring the view of the grassland. A moody evening lighting already filled the place.

- You are quite an optimist... - he smiled timidly - My hopes at the moment are by far more troubling category. - turning his expression slightly worried he continued walking, from time to time checking to his side for their ship images.

- Why is that? It's not Gaia, where everything wants to eat you alive. - she turned her attention to him. - It's a pretty welcoming place, compared to some. I don't see a reason to be worried.

- Sounds too good to be truth. - he didn't seem to be convinced but still smiled gently as he added - Well, at least I see very well in the dark.

She giggled.

-
Oh come on. We're on a flat grassland. It's not like we can miss our ships, can we?

- That's one thing I am not worried about. - he laughed - Though it might come in handy for search during running. - his face turned into a timid smile again - I am worried about things that might hide in this grass.

Flora's eyes briefly swept the nearby knee-high grass.

- You worry too much. - she turned her attention to the darkening horizon again.

- Maybe... - he took a deep, relaxing breath and looked at Flora first, then onto horison, then back at Flora, smiling gently - You are quite a mix of things that usually don't add up.
