Sader did not move, he simply stood there waiting for Hemlock to end his rant. "That can be arranged, guards." The guards without hesitation aimed their side arms at Hemlock. "Take him to the shipyard now. If he resist. Stun him." "Aye aye sir!" The marine quickly grabbed Hemlock and dragged him away from Sader, towards the door.
Coming up with an excuse to keep things from escalating by having Hemlock forced off his ship, the operative steps in. "Hold off, Nova wants to see Hemlock immediately. Without an armed escort, unless you'd prefer to argue with her, Sir." The operative stays in the Marines' way at the door so he can't be ignored and Hemlock be dragged off.
"I'm not leaving this ship.. How many times have I make that clear?"
Hemlock yanked himself away from the marines, dusting himself off. "Tell her the Chow hall on Deck 8. I'm not stepping onto that damned station until I know I have a sturdy bridge of trust."
He looks to Sader after he'd asked to see Reyes. "You.. You even think of placing one hand on Catherine.. There won't be a force alive strong enough to stop me from venting you out the airlock.."
"Do I make myself clear, 'sir'?"
The operative departs, going to inform Nova of the situation, to which she stops her search to find Hemlock, in whichever location he may be. The operative then fetches Reyes for the Admiral.
Goddamn it Sader, you can't just let him stay, can you?
"So be it,." Sader gave a quick nod to marines who shot him with their weapons already set to stun. "Take him away." The marines gave a quick nod then grabbed the unconcious body and took him.
As Nova passes the corridor, she spots the Marines dragging off Hemlock. For the love of God, Sader... Nova walks to the conference room while the operative he sent earlier approaches the CO's quarters to check if Reyes was still there.
"Please tell me he passed out and you didn't have him shot. Admiral, do you have any idea how hard this is going to make my investigation!? What did you have him knocked out for!? I really shouldn't have come to you until I knew more, that was my mistake."
The operative checked the quarters. "Anyone in here? Looking for the XO, anyone around?"
"Don't look at me. With a little bit of luck he will remember nothing. Also he refused to obey the orders i gave. And insulted me wich i would not mind otherwise but we are doing an investigation. The report will mention that he passed out because of blood pressure problems caused by his severe PTSD. Better than facing court martial for insubordination wich would have been unavoidable otherwise." Sader lighted a cigarette than sat down."Well. Now lets see the XO's story."
Nova stood silent for a few seconds, visibly calming down. "Alright.. sorry for the outburst, Sir. Did he make any mention of someone named Reaper? According to some information I got, this Reaper attacked the crew and killed 3. I've got a team on the prowl for any information about him, if we get something to work with I'll see how it fits in the story they've given, or if we can track him I'll have him brought in. Again, sorry for the outburst, Sir. I'm going to be taking a couple days leave after this is all through, I need it. My operative should be getting the XO now, I'll be in the lab on Juneau looking over that artifact, seeing if it's been able to manipulate the crew or someone on the crew."
Nova began to walk towards the door, messing with her fire pearl necklace.
The operative sent to search for Reyes would indeed find her in Hemlock's quarters, wrapped up in a fetal position on one of the Hemlock's sofas. Whatever attempts to wake her up would be met with light groans and, eventually, the sound of her whining. She woke up not long after, turning her body towards the operative. "Can.. I p-please just.. stay here...? Please tell me he's not.."
She was noticeably shaking, even though she'd likely have just woken up due to him.
As Hemlock awoke, he found himself in a room unknown to him. While he didn't seem to be restrained, he dis get the sense that the Marines had indeed dragged him off of the Shamrock Bay. Very quickly coming to this realization, he jumped up onto his feet and instantly slammed his fist against one of the metal lined walls of the room, the sound making a very loud thud, with a slight crunching sound adding onto it. He pulled back, grasping his hand and yelling. "Aaagh...!"
