Point:
If you want to ignore the economy, we could always just remove it altogether and give everyone unlimited funds

You cannot, ever, make war or change who you attack, without affecting your economy.
If the Corsairs blocked every food shipment ingame they would not starve.
Should they?
Yes.
Players ignoring these sort of things is what causes all this drama and is why players don't have any control over the actual mod.

I told you on skype but I'll say it here too:

The Zoners of Theta have stopped supplying the Corsairs over a year ago. Actually, they stopped before the first war. The constant flow of hostiles is already hurting out supply lines and costing us lives and ships each day. By removing those problems we are actually improving our economy.

Edit: InRP there would be no war, not against a handful of zoners with zero combat experience. Like someone already said, Corsairs are not fighting on 4234 fronts, they are only defending on the Hessian front. Taking over Theta would happen in a day because its so close to Gamma and you don't even have to bring ships from the other parts of the Empire. The Theta Zoners allies in the previous war was the Order and I doubt they can do anything now, after being steam-rolled and losing their planet

One way or another, there are no consequences for conflict right now.
Both positive and negative consequences don't exist.
This ought to be changed, at least on a limited scale.

Would be interesting, if as a result of there loss of so many supplies, the Corsairs lose there cap ships, and the ability to field anything larger then a gunboat.

Or the Zoners suffer the destruction of Livadia due to a Corsair raid, removing their ability to build anymore capitals or repair already in place ones, removing their ability to field them.
Etc etc.

Consequences, full of possibilities!

That would require a completely new game to be made and we would die in laughter watching people sawing off the branch they are sitting on.

Not really since solving this conflict will bring things to what they should have been in the first place and yes, we are working to solve it. I'd love to see more people not over-reacting and whining and trying to talk to us. For some reason Q_Q'ing all over the forum is preferred to actually discussing the problem. So far the OSI was the only group who tried and their ships can fly without having to worry about the blockade/embargo.

You will be surprised how many of us would love to see the Corsair caps gone, along side the Outcast and Hessians ones.

Edit: What Linkus said. No more Legates should mean no more Nephilims too, right?

Talking about rp,well in rp corsairs have best ships in sirius...surprised? Its in rp...
Corsairs willake anything not to starve, including taking all zoners base around.and as vito typed, how long can fp in theta stay against whole empire that is 35k from it? 5 seconds?
You also forget that zoners are not the only that are suplying food...there are also some groups in kusari...
And removing corsair caps? Make it! Majority of corsairs will welcome that
