10:38 a.m. Eastern Manhatten time.
Docking station base one.
Greater Manhatten City.
Started the day off by un-docking from Newark station when i noticed two Mercenaries near the orbit of Manhattan. i asked both of them twice to leave. they did not,. i asked the third time and the merc named Jack.Daniels stated that he would not leave. i told him that if he would not leave i would have to arrest him. he told me that i would have to "make him leave" i gave him one more warning and said "this is your last warning, leave now or i shall be forced to arrest you" about three seconds later he engaged me and i called for back up when officer Hull.O'Brien came and assisted me. the Merc destroyed my Vessel and i was ejected into space. a few moments later, said merc destroyed officer O'Brien as well. Here are the verbal reports from my comms systems.
Took off fron Manhattan, heard there was a Rogue somewhere. Found 'im, but Cap'n O'Brian said to hold off...Wanted to duel him. That went really well...O'Brian, myself, and Thornley are now on backlist for new ships.
Recommend that Jim.McKinsey be placed on the Kill on Sight list for assaulting officers.

Reported for duty and launched from Fort Bush to the report of Pirates in the California Sector. I proceeded there post haste. Apparently, someone likes to turn in false reports. I HEARTILY suggest that the Liberty Laws be amended that a False report ends up with a fine.
The next couple of hours was quiet. Caught up on my reading of the S.W.A.T. manual, talked to a prospective recruit, made an appointment at the Manhattan firing range, and put in my lunch order at Sunbucks.
My scanner alarm went off and looked at it. 2 hostiles, Basilisk, and [BW] Finn Aidan, both of them in gunboats, of course. They we slowly circling, trying to bait me and the LN that were present. They were soon joined by Victor Navorski, affiliation unknown.
Present were myself, another 2 LPI officers (Sorry, my memory is blank), and a Naval Officer (Again, memory is fuzzy) engaged them when they started to attack a Naval cruiser.
The Battle lasted quite a while, the first to retreat was .:BW:. Finn Aidan. Next, Bailisk ran out beyond 6K , but came back into the fight after awhile. After awhile, I had sustained so much damage, the only weapon I had left was my SN. The other 2 officers ships had been destroyed, and I couldn't just abandon the LN officer, so I stayed in the fight. I guess I stayed a little too long, because I ran out of bots and bats, and eventually Basilisk got me with his turret's.

Subj: Kill On Sight List
Sir,
I write this message with the intent of convincing you and the Deputy Chiefs that we need to start and make public a Kill On Sight list.
Too often a mercenary, a rogue (not LR) Liner, a smuggler, and other assorted criminals will come into Liberty space and decide to use LPI officers for some target practice, figure they can shoot their way out of a fine, or resist leaving Liberty space when ordered to do so figuring there is no sort of punishment for it and everybody will forget about it in a couple of days.
Currently, individual Officers have to maintain their own KOS lists on paper, not being able to share info among all Officers. One day an Officer will put him on his Individual KOS list, the next day the same Perp will go by another Officer who has no idea that he is KOS.
I am suggesting that Officers post their KOS listings in their patrol reports. You as the Chief, Deputy Chief, or designated individual approves the entry, that way people aren't being put on at random.
Criteria for making it to this list would be:
1. Unannounced attack upon an Officer
2. Destroying an Officer's ship while attempting to flee and avoid paying a fine.
3. Refusing to Leave liberty Space and destroying an Officers ship.
4. Any reasons that the Chief and Deputies state.
This list would not normally be used for those Criminal factions that we already deal with (Xeno's, Liberty Rogues, Lane Hackers), but the smugglers, mercenaries, freelancers, and other factions that commit crimes here.
If an individual sees the errors of His/Her/It's ways and wants removed from the list, A fine of x milliion (Fixed amount to be determined by the Chief and Deputies) would be paid to the LPI-Rikers for said removal. A probationary period of 10 days would be in effect. If Said individual screws up and lands back on the list, the listing could be permanent.
Another suggestion would be to share this list with the Liberty Navy and the Liberty Security Force. If that is to happen, then one more entry added to the listing would be : {Service}. Payment to be removed then
would be forwarded to the appropriate agency.

Sir,
I write this message with the intent of convincing you and the Deputy Chiefs that we need to start and make public a Owed Fines List.
Currently, individual Officers have to maintain their own lists on paper, not being able to share info among all Officers. One day an Officer will put him on his Fines list, the next day the same Perp will go by another Officer who has no idea that the individual owes fines to the LPI.

It was cold in the Hangar at Fort Bush when I reported for Duty, apparently the environmentals had taken some sort of hit from a idiot trader who thought that testing out his laser cannon while being INSIDE of the hangar deck was a good idea. I gave him one heck of a fine, something he will remember for a good long while. Its a good thing that the LPI hangar is segregated from these fools.
I launched and immediately was contacted by the Navy about a Junker in California, by the name of The Chrysonavis. Had a full load of Cardi on him! I proceed at break neck speed to get there. Upon Arrival, the Navy had him corralled. There were 2 other LPI officers there, Officer Joe Smith, and Sergeant Markey. Well, the Navy turned him over to us, so I demanded that he drop his cargo and pay a fine. He played for time, seeing as he had been escorted by 2 outcasts from the CCS group. The Navy had those 2 bottled up and told them that they could go, that the Navy had no problem with them. Apparently, the CCS is short on brains, because they attacked the Navy and got vaporized for it. I think we should send the CCS guys some <strike>C4 candy canes</strike> condolence cards next year for Christmas.
The Chrysoanvis kept playing for time, saying he couldn't jettison his load, that the doors were inoperative, welded shut, so on and so forth. Then he tried to run for it. The 3 of us gave him what for. The Navy also kicked in for a good measure. He was trying to make it to the California to Texas Jump hole, but never made it. We destroyed him while he was in sight of it.
After this the group returned to NY and we reloaded for the rest of the shift. I had the maintenance guys look over my bird and had lunch.
Launched from Manhattan and did a little smuggling interdiction. The smugglers must be getting smarter, because none of them were around. Markey and I went to Texas for a look around. We were sitting at Planet Houston when a liner undocked from Houston advertising that he had slaves for sale. We informed him that saying that in front of 2 peace officers was not a very good idea. He decided to reply to that by opening fire on us. I fed him a couple of the Sunslayer torps from my Guardian, whilst Makery punished him with his guns. The captain must have been insane, because he tried to planet dive at this point. We figured he was good as dead. Lo and Behold, he showed up at the docking rings again and made a run for the Hudson jump gate. Since he was on his way out of Liberty space, we let him leave. I believe his name was [SN]Raphell....
We returned to the NY system and rearmed again. We flew to Manhattan orbit afterwards. My scanners picked up Jim McKinsey, and he was edging closer to the three of us. We were going to take him on, but he wanted a go at me Mano Au Mano, so I was going to indulge him. A Navy Gunboat appeared on the scene, AirAce, and wanted to take on McKinsey. I told the others to back off and let the 2 of them have at it.
Well, that didn't turn out how the Navy wanted it, so the three of us answered the the Gunboats distress call and jumped in. In he end, the 3 of us ended up having to eject and float home.

I was siting around the hanger before my shift looking over my ship when an SOS came over the LPI Dispatchers channel that an Officer was in trouble in Manhattan orbit and needed help. I wasn't even in my uniform, but a pair of greasy mechanics overalls, but that didn't matter, I closed up the hatches and launched.
Officer Fredro Guajardo was engaged by a freelancer/mercenary, Name of Thomas ONeill. Said sleazeball didn't like it when he was informed that Liberty had a unregistered Mercenary ban in place and fired upon Fredro. I jumped into the fray to distract him so Fredro could get things together or dis-engage. This merc was a nutcase, he was outnumbered and yelling over the comms that we fired first, when several bystanders saw him attack Officer Fredro. We went at it for like 10 minutes,and he managed to shoot down Fredro. I kept on fighting ,hoping that this nutjob wouldn't try to nuke Fredro's life pod.
Now I am going to go out on a limb here and say that all of the sudden, my controls locked up, and said lockup made my ship fly straight and level, allowing the Merc to get a clean shot and cause me to eject. If I find out that the Mechanics are messing with my ship....
Anyways, as far as the Merc is concerned, someone needs to give this guy a <strike>Nova torp enema</strike> a severe fine.
After my Life pod and Fredro's was recovered, I switched over to my SWAT ship. My Libby was in pieces and had to be scrapped.
I launched and my scanners immediately picked up a Xeno, Ministick. A Naval Officer and I gave chase, but he must have hit an Ion storm or something, because he disappeared off of both of our scopes at a range of 2K.
Next up, we had a report of Blackbeards Pearl in the California system. Myself, a LSF agent, and a couple of Naval units responded. Blackbeard lit out of there in a big hurry, made a run for the California to Texas jump hole. He managed to get here and jump thru, we of course followed. He ran to some unknown destination in the Texas system, and we lost him.
At this point , the Navy and LSF agent detected ships in the Z21 area. We proceed to the minefield, I was asked to guard the entrance. They had a Corsair GunBoat cornered in there. That Corsair wasn't too smart, he started firing. I was asked to come in and provide assistance. The three of us took him down easily. His Name was He Mei Tan, a Corsair.
Almost as soon as the gunboat was dispatched, another ship came thru, a Viper! I failed to get the perps name because he started firing immediately, and most of it at me! Again, the three of us took him down easily.
I stopped off at the Missouri to rearm, when the call went out that a large contingent of Xenos were in the NY system, looking for a fight. The Navy asked for assistance from me, so I hoofed it down to West point and set up a road block.
Coming down the tradelane was XA Sidewinder! I shot out the tradelane in front of him, which caused him quite a bit of confusion. Bubbling out of the tradelane behind him was 4 or 5 more Xenos, followed by every Navy, and LSF agent on duty.
I had cannonball missiles loaded on the SWAT guardian, so I put them to good use. I made XA-Sidewinder eat a few, then I shot down XA-Metaxa (?) with a couple! I lasted awhile longer, denying the Xenos any bots/bats that may have come from anyone that was shot down. Unfortunately, my luck ran out and I was shot down too.
My lifepod docked with Fort Bush, but I was unable to see anymore of the fight. I doesn't take a great deal of imagination to figure out who won.
