Darthbeck did raise a good enough question, since taxing a corsair smuggler right in front of Trafalgar wouldn't be tolerated imo.
Contrary, we didn't pirate a Corsair smuggler right in front of Trafalgar. We pirated said smuggler in Leeds.

Actually, the only fighting we engaged in with any OPG outside Trafalgar was initiated by the OPG ship. We treat the area around Trafalgar as a no-fire zone, and won't interfere with anyone there. Besides, we don't have any particular animosity towards OPG, it's just business, y'know.
Thacker ive sent you a proposal to make your transition easier. I personally look forward to seeing more of your guys in space and something that Bretonia has been lacking. Providing your goals dont interfere or supercede the ones we have in bretonia we should have a good relationship.
OPG has been an embodiment for piracy for a long time and its nice to see someone else taking up the skull n bones too.
I don't like the idea that you have no option but to pay Buccaneers once met. Seems to me the purpose of this faction is to annoy traders. It's no where near fun to meet pirates giving you zero options.
As a trader I would like to be able to roleplay myself out of a pirate situation, and I don't see that'd be possible with that faction around.
Roleplay is always a possibility, we're not '2mil or dai' pirates. Of course, if someone wants to RP their way out of paying (whether in credits, cargo, or just bots/bats) then they'd better have a reason why they shouldn't have to pay. And we generally ask for far less than 'the going rate' among pirates.
