So I'm going to try my hand at making a signature. I'm thinking of making a few things then animating them together (or having a nice person do it for me :D), but I'm not sure where to find stuff. Since Photoshop absolutely refuses to install on my computer, I am left with GIMPshop and a nifty little program called Manga Studio 3.0. GIMPshop is basically photoshop with its user friendliness in different spots, but the other one works wonders for drawing people.

Basically, here's the rundown:

I'll start off with Klaus Schneider. He's a Bundschuh (not that you can tell from the forum RP, haven't gotten that far), and flies variably an Odin or a Thor. Mainly the Odin. I'll see what I can do about getting me an Odin render (yeehaw LAN server + FLhook), but as far as the man himself, err, I'm stuck. There's a linky in my sig to his bio, but I'll try to illustrate what I'm trying to get.

Rheinlander (obviously) with dirty blond, rough-ish hair. Not wild spiky anime style, but not terribly well combed. Looks serious, and wears a jacket. Also has a bracelet made for him by his sister when she was eight, but I can easily edit that into anything. As far as attitude goes, he really cares about what he's doing, and seriously hates Daumann/Kruger/Republican for how badly they've messed up his life and the lives of others. A little aloof, but not elitist.

I either need something for reference to draw this off of, or a decent looking render to tweak. Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated. Really, any image that looks the part remotely will be useful, I can never draw people unless I have something to look off of. For whatever reason I can never find stuff when I search, either, so I'm really dead in the water here...

Please comment, I found a few little brushes to make it, and was absolutely bored.

I added a Waran and a Sabre, added motion blur, then placed two brushes for the explosion layers. I then added the cannon shot, which is a stretched Star Wars blaster effect.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

fade a bit the "fire" from the sabre. the blurr is excellent. the warran, however, is ugly, even with the blurr you know its texture wasnt the same quality grade as the sabre, not even close. explosion is fine, but I dont really like the colour.
the whole thing however, doesnt fit with the background at all: the ambient light for instance, doesnt suggest they are part of this scene.
nice effort though

I only used the Waran because all the other ships I have are all allied with the Outcasts.

I only used the menu screen because it looked vaguely cool.:P
