Look on the amount of hate, ganks, complaints and silly things players do, when the fight is -just- about some points which does not mean anything else than who won virtual battle in the end.

Now imagine what they would do if there would be something real at stake, like ownership of stations or even whole systems. Like I said before, it would bring out the worst from the community. What we have now is just a small taste of it.

So true.
And really sad, but I agree fully.
If a pre-determined event causes this, the only consequence can be: never do one in which any side could really win or lose anything because the amount of idiocy would likely just beat every known level.

This is a good type of event. The problem are the people playing in it, not the other way around. Don't try to hide faults, pointing at the exact people is what should be done.

Aww, man, I was pretty much planning something like that, now you really crushed my dreams.

Is that so...

[14.05.2016 22:29:53] Nancy.Sweetwater.: // just curious if this result of the event will affect the lore
[14.05.2016 22:29:56] [Admin]Alley: no
[14.05.2016 22:29:58] [Admin]Alley: it won't

Lore being RP, being borders changing...

So the above statement would suggest this event, whatever the result may be, has no influence on the future war development.

Either that or communication isn't flowing perfectly within the Admin Team.

Or I'm not being serious, but having fun with people who make assumptions. (Though in this case he did speak with Alley, so my cover is blown. Damn.)
