And how would you preserve nomad-like talking for people who don't read forums, and just see OMG! I CAN HAZ NOMAD! They'll do their own "RP", probably not even remotely like the current standard. I see advantages in your idea, I do. But not freely available to every non-english speaking lolwut and other people who don't have a clue about nomad RP.

About the RP and stuff- your RP is well written excuse to enable you to have unlimited ZOI, overpowered weapons and ships, the ability to shoot everything, gank everything and very selective type of recruitment.
If you are really so piecefull and only RP oriented then add a line to the ID where you can engage only in self defence- then you can have all of your shiny stuff and you also will be able to do what you claim that you do.

As I already told you all, nobody will care who the hell made the gb and who flys it if it wasn't overpowered and misused.Why nobody cryes about the Corsair GB for example? It is good 8 gunner GB but it has weaknesses. If you stick to the point where you use no more then 4 of the overpowered guns as your faction promised then nobody will make a issue with it. Personally I would like to see the Nomad GB guns with the same energy use and the 1/3 of their DPS, I will be bursting in laugh when you start to mount basics.....

I also see it as retarded... if the nomads were so high beings who are able to mess with your mind, then they will be able for sure to speak all the languages that humans speak... even stupid persons like me are able to speak 2-3 languages....
The rest is cheap talk and the fancy stories..........

I used to sit 20k above the plane on random characters in O7 and pretend i was a Wilde.
I'd be all like "I'm comming to get u minahs" and they would be all like "oh noes run fer friedstadt" and then the RM would come and be all like "whers the wilde!" and id be like "im keeling a minah in the nort field fool" and theyd be all like "IMMA COME KEEL U" and then id be like "too late gone to Elben" and then they would be like "IMMA COME KEEL U" and then id be like "lol, im just a freelancer. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ur stupid."

Over nerfing equipment is never the solution. It just means no one uses it and it becomes a waste of space.

Humorous, but wrong. The ONLY reason people get that is because of one of two things:

1) We've met you before and know you like to scream for help, so we'd rather off you quickly and get on to more fun things.

2) You just screamed for help.

My Junker and one other with me had a long,and interesting RP chat outside Trafalgar where we were mining with a Nomad. We were both on guard,but we figured if it did not go hostile,we would leave it be. The other ended up joining,and was put through a bunch of "TESTS".
So the Keepers do not shoot junkers on sight,or this 1 was just more interested in RP i do not know. It could have been 2 Salvagers with Missiles to 1 nomad fighter who knows.

I still think people are under rating the intelligence of the player base in Discovery. Not everyone will run to get a Nomad if made availible. Same as no one ran to Gailic space for the good ships,weapons. Reason? They were limited to certain areas,and had restrictions. Now limiting Indies to a select few systems will limit how many will want to play Nomad. Look at how many freelancers/mercs/generic pirates and so on are out there. WHY? cause they want to travel everywhere,and limiting a Nomad ID would deter those lolwuts to a large degree.
It is pretty moot right now,as the admins will never open up the closed factions,unless it is planed for 4.86. Personally like 4.85 they will probly make "MORE" limited invite only factions.Same as 4.84 before that.
Soon it will be faction lancer,and Invite only to play at all,and then death like many server's before it.
The more you limit,or show favortism to any group/groups the more people will rage,and quit.
Already a large amount of very good players have quit over the years,and your seeing more and more Ragequit topics each day.
