So for the sake of argument let's say Liberty still has access to the original blueprints of the prototype Osiris which was stolen by the Order and upgraded multiple times in the past two decades. Now let me ask you one thing: How would simply having the blueprints allow such an open use to grant an open cell to that ship? Can you just jump on the blueprints and undock from a station? Or do you simply walk up to Evora, knock on the door, and order a pack of Ossies2Go™?

No, government just orders construction at it's shipyards (with limited R&D beforehand, to upgrade it's power plant, engines, sensors to modern level) and I doubt that with Liberty's resources, any additional roleplay would be required.

With Liberty Dreadnought having just slightly bigger size (with stronger reactor and thicker hull), you'll basically just need to downscale LD's current power output.

Point is, it's much easier to produce Ossies for Liberty than for Sairs. Or even Order.
(and yes, Vanilla story of stealing a prototype from shipyards with the full technical documentation on it, regarding all components of said prototype, and not just blueprints on how to assemble that thing out of given parts, is utter bs.)

Thank you, someone who can see sense. Just because Order wants to become "super-uber-duper secretz exclusive faction!" doesn't change the facts that somewhere in Liberty exists the technical readout of an Osiris -- no one is stupid to build a damn ship with ONE set of blueprints and leave those blueprints on the ship itself. That is ludicrous.

Also, about the "Ossie being super upgraded and not-similar-at-all with the old time prototype", you DO know you have a one year old wreck of a current production Ossie right outside Toledo, right? Not to mention the one operational in Alaska. Filling the gaps both technological and engineering between old and new Ossies would be ridiculously simple with the kind of resources LSF and Liberty have.

Alons-y!

I am not sure I understand the reason for giving house militaries 90% to their own civilian gunline (have more energy efficient guns, but with a core debuff), but the police and corporations can use them unimpeded. I see the civilian house guns as alternatives to weapons to give people more variety and here with greater efficiency. Admittedly I also expected freelancers to be able to use the house weapons without restriction, but yeah. But mixing a house freighter with house civilian guns, adding flavor to a freelancer smuggler kills their powerplant very effectively.

I don't understand the technerfs at all anymore. They were there to make overpowered combinations "balanced" and to take away the work for checking if tech permissions were given or not.

Nowadays it seems like really everything is nerfed though, no matter if it makes sense iRP or not.

Why would the military of a house have the civilian guns of the same house be nerfed?
Why would the civilian guns of a house not be freely (without nerf!) to freelancers and such? The game is called Freelancer, not Tech-Nerf-Lancer. Why is it, that freelancers are now so extremly limited, whereas they were once free to request and RP to get whatever they wanted from whoever they felt like working for? While I was very much against the old overpowered combinations, I must say, seeing that every - single - non - standard - setup is nerfed makes me cringe in annoyance. And I know I'm not alone with that opinion.

I could write up a big post, but why should I bother when I'll just be ignored or told to shove off...So I'll just say "we need a rework of the tech chart" and "-25% nerf is still too much".

Freelancer once stood for freedom to do whatever you wanted to do. Then it was restricted by RP, which is absolutly fine. But now it's restrictions everywhere...Restrictions which don't even make sense iRP anymore and aren't necessary for the "balance" either.
We have so much nice stuff - but you can only use it if and only if blahblah and even then only nerfed - doing any kind of "special RP" with "special equipment setups" makes you end up feeling like a second rate citizen...
"YOU WISH TO DO SOMETHING SPECIAL IN RP? ... Enjoy yourself being made useless in normal play."

...and I'm not even a big RPer who'd be able to get those special things, but I get why people get annoyed with all those nerfs.

I don't understand the Hogosha 90% on Kusari civilian tech. Hogosha are civilians of Kusari, and can buy that tech on the open market.

It's weird that they have the same penalty as unlawful factions on house civilian equipment.

TAZ -Techchart

For what i have tested the only mistake atm i could find was that we where not able to fly zoner ships with a higher powercore of 10%. If one could please check when he/she has some time. It will be much appreciated!

Echo: TAZ ID didn't have settings correct for Zoner capitals. Fixed for next update.
