Raul chuckled. "Heh, looks like you like her, Julio... Anyway, I'm glad you want to join us. I think we have a few mill spare on the Bank. Just contact me if you need the cash." Raul also finished his coffee, feeling much better now. "Yes, I needed that. Ok, I'll wait for you in the Recruitment Office. Come there whenever you want, Julio will tell where to find the office, right, Julio?" Raul winks.

A tall, lanky Corsair walked through the doors and stopped at the bar-desk.

"Alsono! Amigo! my usual please." The Barman grumbled and opened the icebox, mixed the Brandy milkshake and set it on the counter. He knew better than to mess with the Brotherhood.

Lucendez took his drink and sat at a table. We wanted to get all his Crete work done quickly because he was planning on traveling back to Dublin to try and knock over some BMM traders, he needed quick cash. That and he wanted to field test his new Angels, he trusted the Gaian's design, but didn't know how they would work with his homeland's glorious weapons. In short it would be interesting.

Juan's nimble fingers picked away at his data-pad as he sent the communication to the main banks and looked over weapon optimization charts. He sipped at his milkshake, he didn't like any fancy whipped cream or cherries or anything (in fact he didn't know if the bar had any of those), instead a plain white milky drink sat on the table with a little bendy straw. He had a wonderfully evil looking grin as every once in a while the thought of blasting away a new enemy with his new weapons entered his head. He didn't mind doing his work in the Boozer's Lounge, hell he was pretty sure this was the Brotherhood's office anyway, or at least might as well be. The bar rushed around him but he stayed still, looking over his pad and sipping his drink. The day would be long.

"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."

Sephardi walked in to the bar. Although he didnt spend much time here, he did feel quite comfortable when he did make apperances. He limped up to the bar, his knee still braced after being injured in his encounter with the UKMG ships. He had taken out one of theeir ships, but the untimly apperance of a rheindland capital group had damaged his baby and his knee. He was pissed. The bartender noticing the look on Sephardi's face, came over right away. "Bourbon, neat" was all Sephardi said. The barkeep, pourned the drink and quickly moved away, knowing corsairs better than most, he knew not to try and get into a conversation with them untill they had a couple of drinks in them. Scanning the bar, Sephardi noticed a few TBH members were here. SEphardi noticed the Lucendez sitting with his milkshake, lokking over papers. He walked over."Brother, what brings you home to Crete? I was beggining to think You preffered the bar on Yaren to ours here." he said with a chuckle. " But seriously, it must get quite lonley on Yaren, you acouple of service personnel and the machines? I dont think I could spend that much time away from the mountians of Crete. But the more important thing is, How is your research going?"

"Brother! Please, pull up a chair." Lucendez waved his hand and Sephardi sat.

"Haha, no no, I definitely prefer our glorious mountains and deep canyons, and I do come home often, I just don't drop in. And thinking about it I probably should. And about the bar situation, ours is definitely better, Yaren doesn't have milk so all I get is stale, luke-warm ale. I've actually weened myself off the stuff. Have you realized just how good water can taste?"

"Regardless..., the Gaians might be tree-huggers, but they take their tree hugging seriously. This damnable gun requires several more hours of calibrating before it can work properly. But, once that goes through I think these would be assets to our cause. I've already received the message from Farquar and don't know exactly how the duel Photon, Neutron weapons will work together, but from what I've seen they should meld no problem."

Lucendez took a nice long sip and smacked his lips afterwards.

(OOC: Edited mistake on which Elder said what, Montoya to Farquar.)

Sephardi throw back his shot, Oh how he loved the taste of bourbon, the way it burns as it does down your esophogus. He remember, years ago, when he was stationed on Cadiz, it was always so cold, bourbon had always kept him warm. Come to think of it, he was really please to be back on Crete, he found all stations to be cold and bleak places. Turning to the bar he yelled " Bar Keep, another" and with a thought to Lucindez he added " And a water." the bartender hesitated with a confused look on his face, then got the drinks and took them over to the table. turning back to Lucendez he said " I dont doubt Gaian weapons, and as for tree hugers, they dont mess around. When I was on Cadiz, met quite a few Gaians, made good freinds among them, even went to Islay a few times. I still get a case of Irish Wiskey every year on my birthday from my freind Ze'ev." Taking a sip of his bourbon, he countinued " Have you thought about any Hogoshu weapons, I have only seen a few, but as I remember, they were quite effective, we should limit ourseves in our search. The loss of our nomad blasters is going to be a big loss, and a big task to overcome. If I can ever help you out, let me know." Sephardi then gulped down the rest of the his drink, looking up at lucendez, he asked " Can I by you another shake?"

"Naw, I think a coffee would do me well, black please." Sephardi motioned to the barman and the drinks arrived. "And thank you for the offer, I have posted all the details on our private message boards to be looked over by all Brothers and Sisters, and of course I wouldn't mind a friend at my side, watch each other's backs. My only concern is that unlike the Gaians we may need some sort of arms deal, I heavily doubt we could just walk in and buy them, although that might actually be the case, you never know."

Lucendez finished off the last of his shake, and took the dregs with one gulp. "Your right, of course. Hogosha definitely need to be visited, they just seem to have slipped my mind. They seem to not make appearances too often in public, but if I remember correctly its the Black Dragon Society that we go through, though it's been awhile since any Corsair actually met a Black Dragon in person." The sudden thought of going into Kusari space once again stirred up images of his past, those years he was wandering, trying to find his people, or any cause really. He stared at his coffee, blank.

"But ... I think I'll go their slowly, I'll need to stop by the Diamond trade routes and "liberate" some credits. Unfortunately I've been falling down on my pirating responsibilities." He sipped his coffee, "conservative, but quick and deadly. The Kusari lifestyle. When in Rome as they say." He toasted to a potential new mission.

Sephardi thought about the idea. " I'd love to go to kusari, havent been there in a long long time. I'm going to initiate some contact with Black Dragon, see if we can work out the procurment of a few weapons, for research purposes only. And I must say the thought of once again flying in open space, outside corsair territory is very appeling to me, and haveing a good wing mate is always a plus. I have some things to do before we leave." He said and gulped his drink down. " I'll let you know once I've made contct and worked out the logistics. Adios Hermano." Sephardi said with a grin, and walked out of the bar to start preperations for the trek.

Elder Montoya walked into the bar shortly after he sent the message to Ares and the other Elders. He wondered why so many of his brothers were completely unaware of the diplomacy between the Brotherhood and the Coalition, and why they chose to shoot first and ask questions later.

Such was the Corsair way. And it was this Corsair way, that was threatening to tear the Brotherhood away from the Coalition. Juan sighed at this sad fact. Just when the Corsairs and their friends needed to be pulling together, they were doing the opposite. The Outcasts were unifying, or so rumours which had been going around had said. And what were the Corsairs doing? Splitting.

This needed to be stopped immediately. The Corsairs could not afford to constantly look over their shoulder to observe their allies while fighting, or they would surely lose territory, especially in their weakened state.

So deep was Montoya, lost in his thoughts, that it was Ares who approached him and tapped him on the shoulder. Startled, Juan whipped round, nearly losing his balance. But, he was caught just in time by Ares, who remarked:

"I think you've been drinking a bit too much Hermano! Haha!"

'Yeah, yeah, whatever.' Juan replied.

'Anyway, I came to talk to you Ares, and you know why. Please, explain to me the situation in more depth.'

Ares sat down, a resigned look on his face,

"I haven't got the particulars yet, but several of my pilots have pulled back to Cape Verde due to being fired upon by individual Corsairs, in spite of said pilots acquitting themselves well in Rheinland... being amongst the handful of disciplined pilots in the invasion."

Ares sighed, sipped his beer and continued,

"Well, I've let them know that Gamma, now more than ever, is of great strategic importance. They also know that the Brotherhood are not to be blamed, which is a start. However, restrictions upon defending themselves from both taunts and blatant attacks is wearing on their morale in a severe manner.

In essence, either these smartmouthed Corsairs get more discipline or I'll be forced to loosen the discipline with my pilots. Unfortunately, some of these ignorant blowhards will probably get shot at..."

Ares shook his head, obviously pissed off at the situation. On one hand, Gamma is strategically important and the Corsairs close to his heart, but on the other, they'd been spitting on the Coalition's honour and the only ones that would listen weren't the ones that needed to hear what he is saying...

As Juan heard Ares' words, the blood drained from his face. Another instance of the same problem that had been straining the relations between the Corsairs and the Coalition. Indecision creeped over Montoya, as he struggled to think of what to say.

"I have no idea what to do, Ares... Do you want my authorization to allow your pilots to shoot down brothers who are hotheaded, as you possibly once were? Isn't it a bit too much of a punishment?"

As Ares opened his mouth to respond, Juan reacted faster and continued.

"I know these pilots of yours aren't Cretan, or even Corsairs at all. But you know from your experience what growing up was like. I do to... some aspects I wish I had again, others less so. Such as, for instance, the burden of expectation that the family placed on my shoulders, to shoot, keep shooting, and never stop shooting for the Corsairs. It took me a while to relax about it, even after I matured and joined the Brotherhood. What about those that shoot your pilots, do you think they are the same? The same I was, not so long ago?

But at the end of the day, it boils down to 'How do we solve this?'. I really don't know what to do, but I pray, don't kill your brothers as a punishment for their ignorance..."
