Which are specifically, Zelot is biased and we will see this covertly in his Administration, and that his appointment to the administration team is a bad choice, when there are far better candidates available, who are both equally if not more competent, and infinitely less biased.

Hm. . .Did you know that picking apart a post is actually a form of trolling? You haven't actually done it, but a lot of people do that. Since I know this, I will not. I will however, disagree to this by going down a list that I have composed myself, that I believe is your perception of this issue:

Subject A - "Bias"

I'm afraid in the upcoming world, terms like "responsibility" or "respect" have been used so much, so frequently and without proper use, that it's value has effectively diminished. The same has actually happened with the word "biased", which you present fairly well. The problem with stating that Zelot is biased, is that being bias is not inheritly supposed to be seen as a bad thing. I don't want to give the word "bias" a good name, but I promise you that being bias is the last thing you need to worry about. If anything, it's a scruple, and your disregard for that explains exactly why the statement of calling someone "bias" is easily answered; because cynicalism rules popular thought. I suppose that if sufficient evidence that seriously displays a very extreme form of "bias" were to appear, I believe your arguement would have more weight. I can take your word for it and respect the reasons why, despite the fact that I can't see them.

Subject B - "Bad Choice"

If I said "I don't believe it's up to you", that wouldn't be entirely fair. You are a player, after all, and with that comes a signifigant amount of weight, especially if you've been here and know how to get the community on your side. However, I don't think you provide enough information as to why it is a "bad choice", neither in evidence nor reason; perhaps doing so in a long, descriptive posts wouldn't work out very well because it would be stripped down by authorities who would seriously ignore logical points and put more favour in their choice-- but the problem here actually comes down to why they would do that. It's because the administration team thinks it's made a good choice, and it's willing to defend that choice. I believe if the administration really believes he's suitable for the job, then we're missing something that they've got. I'd like you to take a look up at the last sentance of the arguement of "bias" and adopt it as your way of percieving. Have good faith in those who are guiding us unless you know for certain their intentions are ill, and if the expectation of good faith is established, you can call them out for ill intent. Something tells me, though, for certain that Zelot wasn't put in place to "diminish the server" or "hinder it from progressing futher", but rather to give it a boost. Whether it was a gut feeling or a statistical approach, the administration believes that Zelot can enhance the community by being given these powers, and I'm atleast willing to try.

Subject C - Competent

It's so nice being in a community where we can voice our opinions without having to be scared. It's refreshing, really, to go all out and be completely honest without changing wordings to fit the social structures demands. I believe that you should rethink this point and be more specific. I am very competent in this field, as I've had experience as an administrator for a few years at a WoW RolePlaying server, and have come to understand it's workings very thoroughly. That is, the work of an administrator in general rather than of a specific place. I have no doubt that I could be an efficient administrator here. But the problem is, I am not quite indulged in the community and in effect had not had face time with the moderators, administrators or veteran players. Why don't I claim it unfair, why not display my skill and shoot down other moderator/administrator responses that aren't quite up to par with my high expectations? It's because I'm mature enough to understand that the system of gaining a place of authority requires zealous (pun intended) amount of effort in implimenting oneself into the community. It's not a question of competency, but rather of trust and understanding, one that needs to be earned by both the administrators and the community.

I like Zelot. He's like my Disco dad, especially since he stopped Hoodlum from tattling on me when my real dad got banned from Disco (he F1ed in front of Virus, Caylith, and Del while multiboxing). He taught me how to pirate. And stuff. I think he has the right idea of what it is to be new around here, and how to help those people really get into what's going on around here.

I'm good for it. Especially because it keeps all of our waffles safe, like Gheis decoded from N00bl3t's secret quote language.

Thank you, although I want this thread to stay open. I want people to get out what they want to say, air it out for everyone to see, that way people don't have to talk about it in hushed tones in skype chats worrying about who is in the chat listening. I think if we get everything out now, maybe we can start fresh and move on. If it continues to fester, there will be no moving on from it, no matter how much time goes by.

Zelot, If this is true, then i have something to say!...

...Adding Zelot to the Admin team was a bad idea. Especially when there are far better candidates like my friend Nooblers pointed out.

Sorry Zelot, no offense against you or anything but I don't have high hopes for you. Though! I DO hope you prove me wrong, and everyone else that reacted negatively, wrong about this decision.

In regards to critics of being biased; I believe Zelot will be able to do his work professionally and fairly. I doubt his personal side of FL will interfere in his tasks.

See this like a Judge. He might think you're the biggest crap of society, but in his work, he has to stay professional and objective in his decisions.
