Weapon balance proposal

I'm starting to think about this proposal and I suddenly realise that a gap will be created between the class8 and class9 gun.
If i can remember the Heavy Rashpoint to 204dmg and the Imp Rashpoint 94. I was frankly surprised and said to myself i should better mount Adv. Deb on class8 gun port.

Maybe, Chooper could adjust slightly the class8 ? Only HF and LF are concerned with class8 gun, i do know that LF might me more dangerous with superior class8 gun.

Note : About the vengeance mk5, 72 power usage doesn't change anything as the energy efficiency is the same. At the moment, it is even better to mount heavy Rashpoint instead of Vengeance mk5... a civilian gun better than the best laser gun of Liberty ?!

A agree with this proposal almost completely, but why make the Destroyer Turret a 4.00 refire rate when the gun itself is a 3.03? It would make more sense to have it sync with the guns, especially since it would probably be overpowered with a 4.00 refire rate.

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but that kind of bugs me....

in the list that Igiss got it has 3.03.

EDIT: It's actually double typo, since Destroyers have 700m/s speed and will keep it.

@Oniros, yes for some faction there will be a bit of a gap between class 8 and 9s but those are quite a few...

most factions either:

1. have decent lvl 8s: Bundschuh, Xenos, Rhienland, Corsairs, Outcasts..
2. Don't have lvl 8s at all: Lane Hackers, FA,...

Right now it doesn't look like anyone has time/will to rebalance lvl 8s as well.

We will be lucky if the turrets get implemented.

Well, as I said, the proposal isn't perfect at all, it was proposed mainly to see if people are for improvements. Fine tuning is needed, certainly.

Vengeance, as proposed, could use some 69 instead of 72, and it would be pretty good.

As for class 8's, I would up them as much as I upped class 9's, in % of course.
But, as stated above, this was just to check community's will.
I really didn't have the time to do 8's and bellow, it's extremely time consuming.
I wasn't expecting Iggis to blindly copy/paste everything I wrote, be sure of that.:)

Oh, it's about the turret. Well, I'll explain. I think it's the same trick which is done with Wyrm/Wyrm turret.
If you are aware, Wyrm gun is 3.03, while turret is 4.0.

Why 600 speed? Because most turrets have that speed, I don't know why. Salamanca and Debil's are exceptions.
Of course, it can be 3.03 and 700 but that way it's almost the same as the gun, which usually isn't the case (cough - tizona, cough - wyrm, cough - salamanca).

Please, chopper, boost Protector just for additional 20 damage Shield/hull.. speed is fine for Code synchronization ... range okay... Weapons proposal good...

When compared, Protector, Salamanca,Disinfector and other Neutrons ... Protector is weak, maybe weakest ... Unioner guns can look somewhat as Corsair neutron Salamancas (Because old alliance which existed), but not that good, so Unioner guns should be able to match in damage and other stats all rheindland guns

Protectors shouldn't be best, I agree, but definitely not the worst...

Boosting plasma to 600 speed is good thing.. for RFP and RM.. I hope it will be used more..
