GMG has a Gunboat? I could add that to my never-ending schedule when I get precise info, Angelfire:)

Eternal, rest assured, I'll re-work on your sig, but since the week is starting again, I'll have little time at my hand (meaning, it could easily take until next Sunday).

Never thought about it, but are we allowed to ask for advice here as well? ^_^

If so, question. I have a little project I'm doing for a friends birthday, and what I want to do is add a picture to the overall image, but with a certain effect. Notice in Photoshop there's an 'inner glow' feature right? Using it causes the center of the image to fade to a color on to the border, right? Well, I want to do the same, but instead of a color, I want it to go transparent. I know it's possible as I see quite a few sigs that have it.

Example, 13 Cent Killers Sig.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. ^_^

I'm not sure whether or not these work in Photoshop, but I'd do one of the following:

1: Use a white circle with a huge glow radius with the blend mode "Erase" on top of it. Seeing as Photoshop makes you do all that layer crap, that option might be a pain for you.

2: Make a similar circle or glow, but color it black this time. Then copy it ands use it as a greyscale mask for the image that you'd like to fade out of existence. This is assuming that Photoshop supports negative masks (which set portions that don't exist as opposed to portions that do, indicated by a black mask).

3: Use the eraser tool.

Isn't that what layer masks are for?
Search for some layer mask/transparency tutorials.
