Might as well join this train since i have my own opinion.

I've only ever encountered Doj before, Jetblack i've yet to confirm. Though my few encounters with either of you does make me wonder, what do you hope to gain out of being totaly irritating? I don't see the reasoning behind it, a "Just because" Thing?, you would probably get further if you respected other people's gameplay ALOT more -Which you don't even consider of course.

What majorly strikes me is friends i know being impersonated, i mean, how low can you get? Seriously.
My statement here really isn't valued by anyone but myself. But from what i've seen and heard of both of you, Really gives me a strong impression of what you are like in RL. Someone i wouldn't associate myself with. I'm sure many people share my opinion.

Problem children or not, moderator turned it into flood thread and admin talks about "stuff only he can see" and trolling. Thats exactly what i call "not helping it".
And its quite arguable, what is better for the rest of Discovery.

I don't really blame the admin for that either really, call it asslicking but I know what it's like to be an admin on a thriving server. Sometimes you have to impose authority to get them to realise that they can't win, no matter what.

Admins aren't saints, they just have to make decisions that affect the server, if there are 2 kids currently driving new players (hardly an abundance with Freelancer) away then something has to be done. Apparently you don't understand that.

So I would suggest if you really want to get unbanned that you try this thread again, this time without the dick swinging, threat making and troll science style "logic".

I don't think I've done any of that, but okay.

Not to sound like a conceited jerk, but it really is that easy to just go back on and continue being a jerk to new players, killing everything in sight, and making it just a general pain in the ass to play. We'd like to try and make it where that is no longer necessary. I am sure we can come back "legally" to the server in a mature and sensible manner that is beneficial rather than detrimental to the player community at current.

There is no ultimatum. We aren't trying to blackmail or anything that even closely resembles it. If you think logically for a while, you too can figure that one out, so lets put the known facts in a list.

• We're dickheads
  
• We can circumvent bans without much effort
  
• We lack impatience, so we can keep this up forever
  
• The administrator team is persistent enough to keep banning us until the end of time, creating a paradoxical situation
  

The whole idea is for both of you not to be dicks first, and then we can discuss the unban. Protip: a lot of people can tell when you're just concealing the inner dick.

If you guys DID want to change, you'd just swap your IPs again, and just play normally. What's the difference if your previous accounts are banned or not? You wouldn't be getting anything back.

So if you really want back that badly, why not change how you act now, instead of after a vote that's obviously not in your favor?

Interesting thread!

I personally have only encountered Doj. After my first few days on Disco I was quite angry at most "official" factions with "old timers" who seemed to stretch in-game rules very thin when dealing with nobodies like me. I was about to give up on this server. Anyway, I met Doj in a dogfight and we started talking. He chose to not disrespect me despite being a newb, taught me stuff about the game, let me fly around with him and he was always up for a chat. Definitely some of my best days on Disco, but unfortunately he disappeared shortly after and I kind of lost interest so I pretty much stopped playing.

It was indeed the case that Doj would speak poorly of the official factions as well as the admins and such, but since I had some pretty bad experiences with them from the start, and because I was pretty impressionable at the time I listened. My point is, if someone from these official factions would have taken me in instead, and told me all this stuff about Doj, I am sure I would think he is the douchiest person on the server and vote "Hell no!", just like I see so many other people do.

Which is why I think it's pretty stupid when I see posts like "Well from what I have heard of you..." or "This one time he killed my newbie friend..."

I don't know, I might be unique in the sense that I have actually played and enjoyed Disco with Doj, whereas many other people in the thread might simply have encountered him as an adversary, but I definitely do not know Doj as a massive douche. Rather, he was the sole reason I kept playing and enjoying Disco.
