Tbh in the last weeks DW do talk before the fight and they don't camp pirate bases any longer, but rather patrol along TLs.

Also it's very often other people who will lately do anything to hunt DWs around.

Like yesterday, yes DWs overkill 3 xenos at forth bush of all places with 3 GSs and 1(2) fighters?.... and what do they get thrown back?

EX-liberty BC (522) grouped with OC dessie, Rogue GB AND the rest of the xenos. This is not the very first time something like this happens.


I can't say I like DW in general (mainly due to past experiences with some members), but they get thrown so much **** back at them lately that it's not even funny.

Maybe someone should look in the mirror?

I like this guy.

it is both sides that are now making poor decisions.

Perhaps a signing thread put in for all DW(any any bounty hunters who don't want to be left out) as well as involved pirates and characters who feel that more attention to detail in RP should be instated before anything PvP occurs?

I see nothing wrong with DW getting back what they do, but both sides of the fight need to stop pulling the stunts, regardless of who did what first.

The fact is, there will always be people who don't RP. It's something that's not going to change. But established factions like the DW need to stand as a role model for these ones. You're an official faction! Granted you were accepted when the standards here were much lower, it's besides the point. Factions such as this are expected to stand as an example. And you will be singled out when you mess up. It's unfortunate, but true.

Not to say others are out of blame, but using their actions as an excuse for yours? That's not cool.

From what I read it is EXACTLY what you are wanting.
Only difference is that DW wont be getting shot why trying to type a comment.

From what I read it is EXACTLY what you are wanting.

You're not being asked to discuss BH politics with your prey. Something along the lines of: "Blasted pirates, prepare yourselves!" would be great! Have fun with it, mix it up. It's really not that difficult.

I'm impressed. The respect level just went down another notch. Not only do you burn our suggestions to the ground, you don't even read them fully.

IMO that's what is going on with both sides really.

Its like a country dropping a bomb, killing 100. the other one reacts, killing 150, and 20 of a third country. Eventually forces are using past wrongdoings to justify amplification of what they are doing, reaching a point of chaos. The countries are only going to do more to get back at everyone, effecting more than just the country they are mad at, infinitely expanding the situation.

IMO that's what is going on with both sides really.

The problem is, one side is an official faction, expected to uphold the strict RP ethos of Discovery, and the other is a faceless stereotyping of a grab bag of indy pirates and such.

If anyone in the LR, for instance, mirrored the actions of many DWs, they would be ejected without delay. Del can attest to that. The DW needs a similar take. No RP just can't fly for an official faction.

Noted. This points again to the faction being a role model. when DW screws up, people get PISSED and retaliate because things like that should not happen. this should be brought into the signing thread i mentioned earlier.
