yeah, what a nice contributing community (clappin)

- Yeah I know I can be a pain in the arse too, yet still sometimes can be mr nice guy -

Quote: That kind of "roleplay" takes a lot of time and effort to build up to, time and effort that you and your people dont seem to want to contribute.

Well, I go with Sprolf ideas, and claim that forum stories do not build the rp. Rather only explains it. Just in case of what you had in mind.

Quote: and frankly 99% of the people who fit into that "we want to be special" group dont deserve it or arent capable of the self restraint it takes to not abuse it.

So happy to point fingers. Yet, I can point it right back, like constant whines of imbalance of one of the factions your got in not so long ago.

Quote: In the end, you'll end up with no place to dock, and like so many other factions that have tried to do the exact same thing you're doing, yours will end up in bastille after enough complaints have been made.

And this should sound creative? ...

Quote: Making an entire faction of pvp-whoring terrorist osirises is not going to fly. Making a single character that fits that bill -might-, but it's going to take a lot of work to get there, and you're probably better off starting in a Titan than in the osiris itself.

But here he has a point. And I need to agree with it. Now Titan is too small. I think he rather would need a gunboat class ship. (yeah you propably think, "that dumb WDIR is making fun out of himself again with his broken english and total fail ideas, but hear me out"). This community, as you see do not really like ghost stories. That's not a seacret. And for your unfortune, this is the game which consists from a lot of talking and being together with people, so their minds means a lot. But we all are individuals, and as civilized democrasy based guys we should let others to do their best, and try to co-ordinate our interests with his own for the 'Greater good' (instead of "get lost nub", "dai", "you suck" in open or hidden flame manner this thread is full of).

So what I propose. In the middile ages. Mostly in Viking period, those ghost stories of ships and soldiers were very popular. Why? Becouse Vikings. Well perhaps not all, but most of them used to act like ghosts to scare crap out of people and then slay them all in battle by using their shock stance or simply wins easier by demoralising. (yeah.. worked great until they didn't came to baltic shore, no-one got scared and kicked their arses.. later raided now day denmark each few years). Why they did this? becouse they were rather faggots than warriors. But those tales had huge impact into their status. And had huge impact in their ability to fight. Scary furs, horns, black dye covered faces, gore looking weapons.

So what I propose. If you want to act as ghost ship. Well just take an example of some kind of Vikings here. Act like ghost ship. But it doesn't neccesery means that it is a excalty paranormal thing. Both sides wins. And if the guys will refuse to roleplay with you, just becouse they red this forum, well then they are just bunch of metagamers.

Now for my personal opinion. Heck we have nomads, why not ghosts. It's science fantasy after all anyway.

oh and to end, to saint smith:

Quote: Where do i sign up this looks like a awsome pure pvp faction, with caps!

Seems you are just burning from the wish to share your experiences of similiar gameplay, I just see it !

well, just my two credits.

There were rumours of ghastly apparitions in Omega 56 this evening.

Apparently a spooky ship manifested istelf in the Guild guard system after wandering bored around Omega 7.

We lost some ships. The baffled commanders soiled themselves with fear. Or laughter. Whatever.

Then, it just plain disappeared.

Recovered from a black box recording:
Quote:Right now he <strike>F1'ed</strike> mysteriously vanished in O15 around D 4
Mid space, just south of the northern Walker Nebula cloud.

This is a problem. Who are we gonna call?

I admit the screenshot is open to interpretation. It may have been a ghost. Or a Corsair Guard ID'd Osiris. I don't know how he knew where Omega 56 was. If this actually happened.

It's true that the previous occupants of Omega 56 disappeared in mysterious circumstances. Maybe the system is haunted. Thankfully we have a special individual on his way to help us.

To Al Concerned:

We have some experience in "Exorcisms" as well. Give us a call.

The kindler, gentler method of assisting confused, misguided, mal-intentioned "Spirits" to another plane.

Rates upon request.

Malaclypse.

Actually the Guild doesn't need any Ghostbusters or Exorcists. They have Guildmaster George Graves and Guildmaster Max DeVirgo. They were visiting the Lost Battlestar just yesterday for some reason, and had plenty of beer there, due to Malexa's quarter century turnover.

And you know, when you drink beer, at some time you just need to take a leak.

Well, both Mr. Graves and Mr. DeVirgo used the same loo up at the Assembly room - with a 2 minute interval.. And Mr. Graves, who went first, didn't flush. Neither did Mr. DeVirgo. The collective Guildmaster Pee had so much potency that it eroded the porcelain loo, and ate its way through 4 decks of Superhardened beryllium/niobium/molybdaen composite, before being stopped and collected into a luckily placed empty Rheinland Lager bottle.

There are two possible reasons for the potency of the Guildmaster pee - Either them hunters really are full of gunpowder, acid and vinegar, OR collected Bounty Hunter Guildmaster pee is equal to the Holy water used in old Sol system religions such as cristianity.

If the latter, I am sure the Bounty Hunters Guild will equip their Weapons Platforms guarding the Omega 56 system with containers spraying Guildmaster Pee over ships that fits a Ghostly description. Those ships will then be dissolved within a nanosecond of entering said system.
The Bounty Hunters might even develop a weapon for their ships that fire such containers. In that case, NO ships in sirius will be safe from the Hunters.
