that's called an idea. he's not acting god almighty to me. just bringing useful idea for the community. and for someone who is here only a little while, hes got some good ones, even though i do not always agree with him.

I think that maybe a misunderstanding has occured, then.

I believe that he was wanting administrator input into such threads in the case of anything being particularly in need of changing or going over or needing a full rehaul.

So four Factions have taken the opportunity to do this and it seems that these discussions are calm and civilised, this is very good. Unfortunately this still isn't enough, whilst it is good that they have chosen to do this they cannot be forced to make any changes which they themselves are opposed to, changes that are required to bring them up to the standard currently required.

that there says to me.. this aint good enough they aint changing what we want lets make them do it, seriously who has the right to decide what IS right and what IS wrong in terms of RP(ok some things are wrong like were uber and we use every ship in the whole game and any weapon we like) , there is many different people in the world all with different personalities there is many different groups and there is many different people with different stories to be told, there is no right or wrong. i agree with some ideas but when it comes to major over hauls and complete changes, thats when i disagree.

ive already stated the fact about my faction xing.... we wouldnt be allowed official status in this day, its apparent that this is the case when i put my faction status in and got flamed to living hell.

i personally dont care about the official status now its just a title. im more worried about other faction leaders feelings who have worked theyre asses off such as i to then be spat upon pretty much telling them they need to change, or they loose what they worked for.

Is everything you dont like, "void" as an arguement, Lohnigren? You seem to be using that word a lot to avoid adressing any issues that threaten your arguement.

Good points were made. You can say bad things about points made, but make sure you come to the table with your own solution to the problem that we face, not just a scathing and badly worded attack on those trying to solve the problem with their own idea.

If you don't have a solution, then thats fine, but be slightly better mannered when adressing those who actually have the dedication to try to come up with the obvious double standarding that is going on here.

I think the whole point is that many of us in older factions didn't work as hard as many of the folk in newer factions, so we seem to be being asked to bring ourselves up to the standards that they are setting.

McNeo.... this whole damn thread is double standarding.

i don't have a solution why? because i find every single solution to be completely unfair to those who have tried they're best to run they're faction's have worked they're asses off to get where they are now, to then be told that they are to change.

and il be extremely ill mannered to people who don't even bring other peoples feelings into the equation. other than oh well its harsh do it anyway, because yes this is extremely harsh and anyone who plays here in a faction or leads a faction does not deserve this kind of crap thrown onto them.

its just plain wrong to dictate to someone what they should and should not do, what happened to free will and open mindedness of discovery which it used to boast oh so much? because all i see here is a group of people trying to dictate to others how they should run something they created

EDIT: i dunno bout you and the SCRA but i have seen alot of work put into the older factions bud, its apparent they have tried. the fact that theyre here for months/years shows that work has been put in to keep them alive. i reckon this is very much enough to be allowed to stay here and keep they're status. all of the bad factions where weeded out by themselves. the ones that showed they didn't have what it took and died off.

another EDIT: i know the factions who will be crapped upon when and IF this gets put into place. CR, RoS (crap away), phantoms, novapg <<< all of these factions if put in today i reckon would not be allowed. but what they have done through the ages have shown that they very much deserve to be here and dont deserve to go through another reelection as it where.
