I'm not an expert but... Do anybody have an equivalent for our Concorde ? What about politic ? Recently, it's turning into s'?t, but FRANCE invented current democracy model ! Other examples ? French bread, Lumiere brethen (cinema's creators),De Gaule (sorry but, HE was a man, who first leaved the Cold War, made a "country to save" a "savers country", helped (after a few mistakes) all french colonies to become strong by themselves

Concorde was a failure...

Current democracy model? Hmm. Technically true, but the French have been amongst the worst at applying it in the stronger nations. See: Constant rioting since the Revolution. Also: Napoleon taking over and the trend for fascists to receive vast amounts of votes.

Cinema is not such a huge deal compared to inventions from other countries (see: printing press)...

French colonies? Not strong compared to colonies of the other colonial powers such as Britain, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal.

I guess the bread is an awesome achievement... even though bread was invented in the middle east.

Anyway, take it as the joke that it is before you irritate people and I have to break out the historical references.
