Quote:This cannot be the final version! Cylon Raider is still broken! Still waaaaay too fast, HF shield, almost the agility of a Wyrm, six guns.
Too bad you didn't tell me this until the final.

I'll release a small patch now to fix that, and fix Kyoto. Then I'll upload the newly packed mod again (the download is offline right now).

Ok maby I should have checked before you updated the mod but did you fix the nomad shield mount from a LF to a HF mount?

I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus

The Manta is still the same...
Humpboldt jump in Puerto Rico is still in the sun corona...
I'll have a look at the Executioner if you fixed the placement of the turrets... [took a look, fixed, thanks]*
and Raven Claw's thruster is on the left side, would have looked beter in the centre, but that's not a big prob...

If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov
The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. I didn't even intend to make nomads equip HF shields. Not this time anyway.

Anyway, here's the fix:
http://discoverygc.com/files/Discovery48....zip.flmod

It's only 1 kb. As an alternative, you can do the following:

Open data\ships\shiparch.ini (game folder and mod folder), find
dsy_craider
section and change
steering_torque = 52000.000000, 52000.000000, 48000.000000
angular_drag = 41000.000000, 41000.000000, 38000.000000
rotation_inertia = 8400.000000, 8400.000000, 3600.000000
into
steering_torque = 45000.000000, 45000.000000, 48000.000000
angular_drag = 41000.000000, 41000.000000, 41000.000000
rotation_inertia = 8400.000000, 8400.000000, 7200.000000

That's all required.

Maybe we do Beta too quickly? We never seem to find all the bugs ahead of time...

I think this release is one of the most bug-free we ever had. Anyway, we'll see... some issues always are discovered after some playing time with the new final version. That's why it's called 'Discovery'. Endless discovery of new bugs and errors :P

Anyways... the file was just uploaded to ModDB.com. Look here:

I'm expecting the mod to be published on TLR soon enough, too. 4.81 never got posted there, unfortunately.
