And my opinion:

Don't feed the troll. I once have been "defended against" and ended up jailed and humiliated. Acknowledging the troll's existence only makes it grow. And it is one, big troll by now mind you.

Whether and to what a degree the Zoners are guilty of their sins is irrelevant as it is a pretext for what Syrus already pointed out. It happened before with Yakuza whose bad side I have seen first-hand and who now have mysteriously faded away. How coincidental indeed...

And as per those Arabisms... Isn't it contained in trolling's definition, that its intention is to do or say something controversial in order to either get attention or enjoy the ensuing argument?

I am not saying it will be easy for those attacked - sometimes it is difficult to disengage, but try and ignore this whole battue.
