I was one of those "BSs" as you call them. Except I was in my gunboat. I NEVER fired on you instead I concentrated on cleaning up the NPCs flying around. (in fact I think I hit the RM guy with a stray burst:angry:) I was there when the Rheinland Indie Battleship charged in with guns blazing. I tried to warn him off and had a navigational error right into him to give you a chance. I then watched when the BS pursuied you into S13:angry2:but I never had any intention of interfiering in your fight as the RM guy was already winning and I don't like getting ganked so I don't do it to other people.
When you enter a system, before anyone has a chance to reailze you're there start "spamming" propiganda. "Der "gotten"kanzler ist krunk und wertlos." (The "god"chancellor is drunk and worthless.) sorta like the soapbox preachers. Yelling at everybody while nobody listens.
Even the SCRA, who are a full military force, and one to be reckoned with, still rely on guerrilla tactics.
You try full-scale militarism in Rheinland and expect Bruchsal to be destroyed with 47 seconds of your first shot being fired.
No, you don't. Insofar as gameplay goes, you conduct tactics of a less-powerful regular military against a more-powerful regular military. There's a difference.
It seems that even when I post legitimate questions I am horribly ignored. Once again, does anyone have the info splotch on Brushcal? You know, the one that gives in-depth description to the faction? Methinks it's relevant. And if I'm wrong to bring it up, then please tell me that, not just ignore me.
And it still looks like it'll be an indie Bundie (hey, that rhymes) flying through Rheinland.

My apologies, as Gryph as pointed out, I was mistaken. We definitely represent a militant organization, rather than a loose band of political minded pirates:
Quote:The Bundschuh have always looked to the Unioners, LWB, Red Hessians, and disgruntled Republican, Daumann and Kruger workers for possible recruits. So they maintain a distinct note of neutrality towards the criminal groups, although they find the Red Hessian practice of indiscriminate piracy distasteful. They prefer to focus on Daumann, Republican, and military bases, although they do raid a ship on occasion for supplies, preferably Samura or Kishiro, as they have no more love for Kusari than the rest of the Rheinland.
Interesting. But, I also agree with Gryph about the PvP. You know, in most wars, combat is a regular thing. Maybe I missed something, but military conflicts tend to involve direct combat. Thus... when you say "PvP-whoring," I understand what you mean. But, there's a distinct difference between "Dud, RM in sys, kill kill kil!" and, "Rheinland Military Vessel, prepare to be engaged." It's brief, but I wouldn't be wasting too much time chatting while my enemy is closing on my position.

There I was, near the Sigma jump hole, when a RHN Military fighter engaged me, I cruised off a bit, not really wanting to fight him, but he persisted on chasing me. So I turn around, and start to engage him. Fight goes on for several minutes, not much going either way when I get two Rheinland battleships jumped on me...
Try communinicating with that.
I'd just like to point out that I've been playing on the server for much longer than those who are being called "newbies", and this is exactly how I'm treated by RM as well. Only sometimes they won't even wait until their ship's scanner picks me up flying near them, they'll come find me, and it's hard to continue typing when anything larger than a class 6 gun is rapping against my shields, usually I have to flee due to being outnumbered, but I will fight back obviously, if I think I have a chance.
It would be lovely to be ABLE to RP with the [RM] guys for more than a couple minutes at a time. So consider this a request. :)
We're not perfect, no one here is. Most of the faction is new, but we're quick learners. I just hope people will realize that, and relax a little bit. I appreciate constructive criticism, but let's all relax a little bit. The constructive criticism seems to be overhwhelmed by "I'm just going to have to say no to this," and "You guys are doing it wrong, just like everyone else who's new here."
Trust me, we're not like everyone else who's new here. As I mentioned, we've been gaming together for awhile now. I've played a particular game with most of these guys for just over three years, and we're VERY RP heavy. Just because we don't always RP the way everyone here does, doesn't mean it's wrong. We're trying to adjust to your methods. Just be happy that we're an organized gang of mature people who are making an effort to get along with everyone here, rather than a group of ravaging idiots who are "lol"ing our case all over Sirius. :P

This is a good reason to attack RM. Especially if you outnumber them. 'Sudden strike'.
Anyway, as I said, I disagree with bashing this faction for the reasons like 'RM has more then enough PVP'.
That is simply not a valid reason.
Gronath said more then few things that you need to fix, and you guys should try and fix it.
When you do that - there won't be a single reason for bashing this faction.
Maybe you already did - I really don't know.
I hope that you will make it though.
About you being soldiers and military.. Well, to be honest, you would be crushed.
Rogues, Hackers, Xenos.. They are all hiding in the nebulas and asteroid fields - attacking from the shadow.
Hessians do have the means to openly fight against RM, at least for some time. Bundies don't.
They are much smaller, even smaller then Unioners.
They are even smaller then Blood Dragons - and Blood Dragons are hiding in Nebulas.
You can't fight an open war with RM, and that is a fact.
Hit and run is the only tactic you, or any other pirates for that matter, can use.
And that is pretty much - guerrilla fighting. Not literally, but you get it I think.
That said, I think there is more room for improvements.
I still strongly support this faction on it's way to become official.
