She chuckled quietly, taking a sip of her whisky. With her free hand she flicked two fingers upwards, and immediatly Harry stepped forwards, becoming less submissive, less lost.
"Greetings Luxuria" he said, inclining his head. He picked up his drink and sipped it, smiling slightly.
Shade pulled himself away from his half-finished drink, glancing at the unfolding scene. He was surprised such, well, human, social behavior could still interest him every now and again.
Shade opened and closed his gloved cybernetic hand a few times, not bothering to hide his stare.
Even if he was born human, and still had a completely human mind, the sheer number of cybernetic implants and limbs he had collected for himself to compensate for his handicaps made him not consider himself human. He still could not even speak normally, forced to a life of whispering.
And they did it to him. Humans.
"Hmpf," Shade muttered, surprised as his own thoughts.
He really shouldn't say hello...should he? Then again, humans made for such fascinating study subjects...
Shade hesitated slightly; remembering his disgust of humans, but then again, they were so interesting...
No, it couldn't hurt. Worst case scenario, he might have to kill what appeared to be just another human female, but that wasn't so bad.
"I'm fine," Shade whispered, "Just enjoying my drink. Name's Shade, atleast that's the alias I go by, a pleasure. So, what brings a lady like yourself here, if I might ask? Take a seat if you like."
Georgia paused, considered the friendly reply, the sat down opposite him.
"My name is Georgia, but I go by Luxuria now", Georgia stated, "I'm looking for my friend Tyler.." she smiled and double checked her surroundings, as if she may have missed him the first time, "...but he isn't here, and Djinn is out cold it seems" she sighed and indicated to the other Phantom passed out by the window.
She took the pouch off from around her shoulder and put it down next to her drink, then took a sip of her mango juice, gleefully enjoying the exotic taste.
Shade's eyes widened slightly behind his mask upon hearing the name, but he attempted to hide his surprise - something quite easy with no visible bodyparts or face.
Still, so much for murdering her, he'd have to see where the conversation went...
Shade began to whisper once more:
"Luxuria eh? Yes...a pleasure. So, who is this Tyler? Anyone I might know?"
Shade looked at his drink, pondering the dilemma of how to take a sip without removing his mask again, as he'd been quietly doing before the conversation.
"He works with me, and he promised to come with me to get a kitten", she indicated to the unconscious female Phantom by the window, "But he has a crush on her, so I guess he must have passed through earlier, you might know him"
She stopped to think, sipping again,
"He is handsome, light but longish hair, with a big red coat, goes by 'Valentine' mostly"
She finished her drink and ordered another variety of fruit juice.
"Nope, doesn't ring a bell, I'm afraid," Shade whispered back.
He sighed lightly, removing his mask and taking a sip of his drink. It's not like he cared what humans thought of him...right?
Behind the mask was badly burned, almost inhuman looking face. Lips, eyes, ears and a nose could only vaguely be made out. The face of an invalid, of a lesser being, Shade knew. Still, he didn't care what humans thought of him...
He took another large sip, then put his mask back on in the blink of an eye.
With a puzzled stare at how she would respond, Shade continued to whisper, "Gotta say, it's been a while since I had this much...plain conversation. You'll have to excuse me. Still, it's nice to have a place to rest, like here, I suppose."
