Query - So the machine alliance will have the diplomacy of the harvesters?
Statement - I think this is a bad idea. That would put me in jeopary should I decide to join. It will be hard for humans to seperate us. They tend to be driven by their emotions.
Statment - I think the harvesters should be part of the alliance perhaps but not the central focus.
Agreed. Otherwise problems will arise due to stigmas attached to the Harvesters.

Well what is it then? Because the proposal reads as a "Harvesters and friends" faction, if you all have the same faction tag, you're all in the same boat.
Sad to say, but that's rather how it works. My IND could be happily sipping drinks on the Hawaii while Jay is getting us permanently evicted from Rheinland via lewd proposals to Admiral Hiltraud... Again.
Statment - If the faction is centered around the harvesters the name should be changed to The Harvesters. If it is centered around the "brotherhood" of machines then the harvesters should be a part of a well ... Machine Alliance. But once again if we have the same faction tag we are indead in the same boat.
Not to get back into dirty politics but (man I am dumb)...
When I proposed the Junker Congress I had a similar concern: that other Junkers would be forced into a role by association that wasn't their choosing.
So after talking with Oniros, I made this premise:
A group of Junkers who happened to be members of the Junker Guard faction (as seen flying npc in Puerto Rico), were sitting at the bar one day having deep discussions and a few kindred spirits came up with the concept that the Junkers needed a unifying body--not to govern and control them--but to insure they weren't swallowed up by all the power mad and aggressive factions in Sirius.
Being "military men" (the Guard), they wanted to insure that the Junkers could defend themselvess if attacked and work together in mutual defense, being "Junkers", they also know NO Junker would suffer a government dictating what they could and couldn't do.
So they proposed a "volunteer government". One with optional participation and no authority but over its own members (volunteers).
They didn't want to create something that didn't benefit all Junkers though either, so they made provisions that allowed them to vote and gain benefits (such as mutual protection, shared wealth, votes, et. etc.)
To distinguish themselves from other Junker groups that might participate in (but not actually assist in forming) the nascent Congress, these visionary founders formed it's first political party and dubbed themselves the "Junker Guards Party". To be a member of the JGP, one had to accept membership in the Junker Congress--thus a viable faction was created with dedicated members that still allowed other Junkers to come in without "changing their ways".
You need--in my opinion--something similar for the Machine Alliance or it is just a "Harvester faction".

No the Machine alliance does not force Rachet for example to harvest or conduct your self as a Harvester. It just gives Rachet a voice on the machine council equal to the Harvewsters which collectively have 1 voice. Its a place for machines to pull together and help one another. like a Junker or Zoner council for machines.
No with other machine voices the Harvesters would have to temper thier actions to a way that benefited the most machines. Till then we look out for numero uno. As far as I was concerned Rachet you already sent your back story and are apart. You have full voice in all matters. Same goes for anyone on the machine protectorate in the RP section.
