The development team doesn't have anything to do with either of those things.
The first one is an "issue" with the community, not the game - it's not going to update itself, and there's very few people updating the Wiki, particularly during the betas as I've been recommending people to not do so. We'll avoid having to verify and update every page again when the final version of v4.87 is out if it is done this way.
And secondly, you only need to do that once every half a year, and you don't need to log each ship for five minutes each either. Just dock and undock plus buy and sell a nanobot on each of your characters and you should be good.

v4.87 is still in the beta phase, as per the previous announcement which is still on the front page of the forums, and I severely doubt that there's going to be another rollback. There's nothing at all to suggest that there would be one, anyhow.
The beta ends when the testing phase ends, and the testing phase ends when the development and administration team have most of the bugs worked out and got all the other planned additions to v4.87 done, as far as I know. The mod is still in beta due to the aforementioned points not being done yet - we've still got bug reports coming in all the time, which are going to need new updates to be fixed. In addition, as far as I know, the developers are also planning on doing a few more content changes to the mod down the line which will also require more updates before we're out of beta.

Okay, so if the money isn't a problem....and if it's not your desire to fly what is largely the most expensive class of ship with the best armor in the game...then WHAT exactly are you complaining about so much? What is SOOOO important in your lost HOURS and HOURS of game play that you have to come on here and spent the better part of the day crying like a child about a free game that you otherwise have made no contribution towards?
