So what is in store for Freelancer when Star Citizen comes out, what do you think could happen, for instance what if its like Discovery but has a few new things added on like a car having air con and a radio.

It's going to be very hard for FreeLancer once Star Citizen arrives, it is basically FreeLancer 2 that we've been waiting for all this time. As good as the original freelancer still is, extending the life of it with new mods e.t.c. It's an old game - with old graphics - has limitations for today's gaming standard. Star Citizen looks amazing right now watching YouTube vids, plus it takes the best parts from both Freelancer and other space games like Wing Commander and puts them all together in one. Once that game arrives, that will probably end my freelancer gaming days for good, if it lives up to be as good as it looks. I don't see why it shouldn't be, same person who created FreeLancer after all and online game-play is pretty much in the same open ended mould that made FreeLancer so very good for playing online taking part in actual combat (unlike "click and move too" type EVE) games.
I'm an old FreeLancer player, I used to play on JOLT server and many others (way back when) before MS pulled the FreeLancer servers offline. I've been waiting a long time for this, as I suspect many others have for Star Citizen (FreeLancer 2) to come along.
From what I gather you can host the game yourself, or from private servers e.t.c. So I suppose DISCO could still host the mutiplayer game of Star Citizen. Watching the videos and reading stuff, Star Citizen is already pretty much RP based. You can trade, be a pirate, join the Military, or remain a freelancer and explore - just the same way as FreeLancer really e.t.c. So there's no reason I can see why that RP cannot be taking further, same way DISCO takes FreeLancer RP further.
In fact, in Star Citizen, you can board other player ships and take over them. So there's a lot more scope for the pirating side of things. Large ships CAPS, can have multiple players controlling them, one on guns, one on radar, one flying e.t.c. So it's a lot more involved with teamwork as well. You can even have your mates launch off in fighter ships from a CAP ship your flying for protection.

What makes you say that?
because eventually 99% of of those "space sim fans" stated at the front page of rsi website are just underage kids who only want yoba graphics + simple pew pew, and eventually that population will ruin any RP environment.

There is no doubt that what you say is true, but those very people will get bored i promise you that, in a game where they have to talk before they can shoot will drive them to another server or just away from the game leaving us with lovely space to frolic and enjoy the graphics and our RP in all its greatness
