Men and women of the Legion and the Commonwealth, I stand before you guilty of many sins and broken oaths. Some of you may or may not have heard that several days ago there was an attempt on my life in the Kepler system by Star Captain Emilia Osorio, following orders to execute me given by former Executive Commander and Star Colonel Cristina Hunter.

Though this is a mutiny as any other and will be dealt with accordingly, I would not be any leader at all if I placed myself above the laws we've laid out to govern our nation, our military, and our future. I deny the accusations of treason and abuse of power, but I openly admit to the acts that I committed. I led a civilian into Vespucci, onto Guadalajara and into my home no less. I let informed this woman of secrets meant for only the highest echelons of Legion command regarding the

HIGH COMMAND EYES ONLY

and even let her step foot on the Incursus itself.

I stand before you admitting my crimes and yet pleading innocence, because all that I did was done out of love, trust, and certainty in my heart and mind that my actions were right. I broke our laws and I will stand trial for them if you wish me to do so, but I ask that before you make your decision to remember what it is that we are fighting for. It was never intended that the Legion remain the malicious and enigmatic entity that it had to be to survive its infancy. We fight for the people of Liberty. For openness, for equality.. so people can lead normal lives and have relationships and have families and grow old. Not live under constant fear of government surveillance or be shot down fighting a foreign war for territory or resources, under the fading veneer of freedom and security.

If love is to be considered a crime in the future we want to create, then it is a crime I am proudly guilty of and I will resign my position as Lord Commander.

So choose your future, Legionnaires. The one where rules are bent and the people you love can be held in your arms, or the one where the people you love can watch in horror as you're executed without a second thought for stepping out of line for them.

Cortez today on my own, LSF agent and Police Officer investigating Colonial fleet at Curacao. In the end LSF agent decided to destroy my new vessel and well he failed so badly, Police officer left on his own with "i'll be taking my leave, since you didn't really harm anyone out here or have broken any laws."

I took some time to think of what you have said, and the points you made about the future we are trying to create. I think your points are very well presented, and what you said is true. What you did, in my opinion, shouldn't be considered a crime.

I guess I don't have much say anymore, but there's my short reply on what I think about what you did. Hope to see you still as our Lord Commander. It is a pleasure to fly along side you, boss.

Same as Lieutenant Revels, I took some time to think about your ~words~ and I have to agree as well. I would have different point of view, but I experienced same problem with one man, 9 months ago. And now? Now I am bearing his surname and honestly, I don't regret it. Not at all. Love is silly and sometimes forces us to share even some secrets people shouldn't know about.

By the way, you have good taste Lord Commander.

It likely doesn't please me as much as it should to see that at least some of you are still on my side. For now I intend to remain Lord Commander until I'm shot down, stabbed in the back, or until my term has ended.

Right now however, we have pressing matters to attend to. As you are all well aware, three weeks ago Operation Logos began. During this time we have seen many of Liberty's citizens flock to our cause, and you have all done the greatest job a Lord Commander could ask of you. We intend to conclude this operation with a bang, taking down the other of all targets. Saltese.

As of 1900 hours, all necessary Warhammer and Gladius assets have linked up with home fleet in Vespucci and are prepped to jump into Humboldt to exact justice upon the Junkers for their repeated theft and harassment of civilians in the Humboldt system. It is time to take Humboldt back, Legionnaires. Make me proud.

As announced by the Lord Commander, our forces had gathered in Vespucci and moved out to the Humboldt system to destroy the Junker base Saltese. The Junkers are nothing but petty criminals and their presence so close to our home was a disgrace.

Suffice to say we had no trouble wiping the base from the face of Sirius. Approaching Saltese our ships charged their weaponry and once in range, the Incursus, Ven'Gyr, Minotaur and Manticore unleashed their devastating weaponry upon the station while the Pandion guarded the rear. The base was badly maintained and it is assumed the population had been evacuated beforehand. Within moments the construct fell apart.

I suppose this will leave the Junkers to do the only thing they should be doing and that is clean up the junk.

With the conclusion of Operation Logos, it has become evident that several Legionnaires are due for promotion. This is one of the more enjoyable parts of my job description, so it's with a smile on my face that I announce the following promotions.

Major Lennard Westbrook, you were demoted several weeks back from your previous rank of Fleet Admiral. It pained me to do this but it was necessary for you to become a better Legionnaire. It would be irresponsible of me to allow you to regain your current position given your past history, but in light of your recent actions I have no choice but to promote you to Fleet Captain. Don't disappoint me again.

Lieutenant Christian Revels, for your continuing service to the Legion, ability to both lead and follow orders in the heat of combat, and timely arrival to all situations, you are hereby promoted to the rank of Major. Well done.

Lieutenant Adam Williams, though you got off to a rocky start since first joining our ranks, you've proven yourself to be as capable as any of us. Your actions have been duly noted and you've been promoted to the rank of Major. Keep up the good work.

PFC Free Radical, you've proven yourself to be an infallible asset to the Legion's ranks and are promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Congratulations.

PFC Jordan Lancaster. you came to the Legion as just another recruit, but during your tenure here you've gone beyond the call of duty and have acted in a manner according with the Legion's finest. I could promote you to the rank of Major, but your talents would be wasted there. Instead I'm promoting you to the rank of Star Captain. The SAD is a tough division to fill, but I believe you have what it takes. Make me proud.

'Star Colonel' Reyes, it looks like somebody else is climbing the ladder. I don't think the Legion has ever had two Star Colonels before, has it? You would know, given your obsession with tradition.

this might be an unexpected message for all of you. To waste no time, I'll get to the topic immediately.
Lord Commander Samuel Locklear has been part of the Hellfire Legion for a long time.
Due to him being in coma for undefined time, I'll have to take over the position of the Lord Commander until Locklear is able to retake it.
It is an honour for me to lead the Legion. We are fighting for the people of Liberty. For openness and equality.

Most of you already know who I am. Grand Admiral Desmond Hal Netreba, I've been part of the Legion for a long time.
