Give each exploion from the dying animation a small explosion, and the main one a bigger radius IMO.

Caps deal AOE damage upon death? Cool. I never knew.

Anyway I like this, if it's possible. Being near an exploding capital ship should definitely be dangerous.

Quote:more dangerous explosions that forces fleets to scatter upon an immediete capital ship death is already put into a ticket on the dev trac - and to be discussed

I wonder, if not only having explosions that do AOE damage, is also have debris. You have a couple cap ships explode, it turns the field into more an asteroid field. When you see a cap ship die/explode, you see chunks of it float for a bit.

Would it be possible then to make them linger longer and act as if asteroids, in the sense that it would hinder movement? I'd imagine a large cap battle would make the space in that location pretty dense with debris, thus decreasing maneuverability. That along with AOE damage? Dayum...

While we're dreaming, could we make that mineable for scrap too?

On Star trek online any ship thats near the explosion of the ship that was destroyed gets damaged severely . I think it would be cool if it would happen in Disco. Its more realistic

I support this idea. Because if a snub is derpy enough to be two inches from a Cap when it explodes, it'd be dead.

I think that this would happen in real life too. Imagine you are a Red military, adn you just killed a Blue military Battleship, i am sure the reactor and the powder room would make one hell of a lethal fireworks. This would make it look more realistic in Freelancer too. I support this idea fully.

This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
