The Doghouse, New London.
Brian's Office - the administrative centre of the Agency.

Brian was examining a piece of paper with a magnifying glass when Harvey limped in.
"Brian, what in the name of....?"
Brian put a finger to his lips.
"Shhhh."
He pointed at the paper. Then he scribbled something on another sheet of paper.
Harvey read it. It said "Bug."
Harvey sighed.
"Brian, there is no way anyone, not even a Hacker, could use a sheet of paper as a listening device."
Brian handed him the form.
"Read it,"he said.
Harvey looked through the application.
"What? Who the hell is Iron-Man? Grandfather in The Order? Father owns GMG?!"
He handed it back to Brian.
"Do a background check. This sounds like a joke. If it's true no way are we letting someone with family connections to two factions we have serious problems with into the organisation. If it is a joke, he better explain why he chose the Guild."

Are you willing to comply with the server rules and S/D expectations? Yes

Are you willing to RP according to S/D policy, alignment and goals? Yes

What would your membership bring to S/D? A loyal operative that is always be ready to help my fellow bounty hunter.

What is your RP story?

Well I think I should start by telling you a bit about why I have requested recruitment by S/D. I have lived my life till now on the streets and in the shadows. I have never had a good chance to better my self. My brother and I have bounced around from place to place looking for a leg up. We have done some things that frankly I am not proud of, but Im hoping that all that will change by joining with S/D. I don't have much (or rather any) experience doing this sort of work, but one thing I can grantee you is that I will always do my duty and follow the orders of my superiors.

If a all possible I would like the tag S/D-Enola Gay

Brian was studying two pieces of paper. Harvey was standing over him, sipping tea.
"Hmmm," Brian was annoyed at something.
"What is it?" Harvey sat down.
"Well, the new guy's brother has sent in an application too. Except..."- he handed over the forms -"it looks like a photocopy."
Harvey studied the forms.
"Well, we need his take on things. Who the hell is he? What reason have we for taking two brothers on, especially when he openly admits to having no experience. Plus I want to hear more about these "things they're not proud of". He'll get the amnesty but only for stuff he owns up to.""
Brian picked up the phone.
"And another thing,"said Harvey. "There is no way we are having a vessel with that callsign. Tell him to read a history book."

//We need more background on your character. And a new call-sign.

You already know what happend from my brother on how we ended up where we
currently are, basicly we fled Rhineland and ended up in kusari space. Well
since you want me to elaborate a little more i will.

Back in Rhineland some of our jobs or "runs" would include theft of highly
sought after material such as documents or data a particular client may of been
interested in. We were also known for helping certain individuals with
"transfering" to a new company, you see in stuttgart corperations value
excellent employees, so much so sometimes they would rather see them dead than
with another corp ... we would help them with this problem by getting them out
of their prevous job alive.

As to why we fled the planet was simple, we had a run to move a valued employee
from the ageis pharmaceutical corperation, unfortunatly our boss botched the
information on our plan of action and we ended up getting the client waxed. This
did not make ageis or the company that wanted the individual very happy with us
and of course our boss pointed all the blame on us.

We got some starfliers and headed to kusari space, we were hoping maybe they
would be able to help us since our old man lost his life for helping them, we
were wrong. We were just more gutter slag in their eyes and of course being
outsiders no one would give us a chance for work, my brother got fed up and left
for bretonian space, i stayed behind for a few months trying to scrap up
whatever credits i could. It was then i heard at the Shikoku system about the
S/D faction of bounty hunters from a few hunters at the bar there.

I sent a comm message to Leon who was already in the region and thats how you
came to meet him, i told him i would follow his lead and meet him there a few
days later, and now you are reading this .... again ... with more details ...

Moving on to your other questions, let me sum it up like this. how do i feel? I
ran through back allys dragging along terrified buisnessmen while getting my
head damn near blown off from all the gunfire from the corp suits that would rather see him dead then working somewhere better. I
know that its alot different flying a ship compared to being on foot but the
principle stays the same, shoot them before they shoot you and try not to get
hit.

Also i would add i have done more flying than leon has and no my way around a
ship slightly better since i am older and my old man had started teaching me
before he got killed.

Finally how do i feel personally about hunting? its a pay check chum. Not to
mention i am not a pacifist like my brother, I dont mind shooting down gutter
slag for credits as to where he might hessitate more often than i. I also tend
to be more focused on the work at hand.

I would like to have the tag S/D Doodle

Message reads:

Greetings.

Right, so, my story. Well, it's a rather uneventful one, but, I'll try to sum it up.

I was born on New London, to a small family. Food was abundant, and everyone did well. My siblings, as they grew up, under the pressure of our father, got good jobs, became successful, and whatnot.

Except me.

By the time I hit 15, I was still working in my father's equipment shop, being a clerk for all the new equipment, hologram televisions, multi-phasic sound systems, and the sort, it suddenly hit me that I needed something to do, as working for my father had become extremely tedious, and boring.

With my savings in my hand, and some food in the other, I left home, well, not very well-prepared, I must say, as I looked back on it. But, hey, life is an adventure. Entering the main city of New London, I tried looking for whatever job I could scrounge up.

In time, a man walked up to me and asked me about everything. This man was particularly friendly. I've seen many of his type before, and, one must always be wary of such people. Though, he seemed different. As I was in rags alongside the street, he offered to take me to his home, and to clean me up, and get me something to eat, since I had obviously lost a lot of weight.

Turns out he was a Bounty Hunter. When we reached his home, he made me feel at home, and even showed me his Hammerhead ship. As soon as I got cleaned up, he fed me, and we talked for a while. I explained to him everything regarding myself, and he, in turn, himself.

He offered to teach me in the way of the Bounty Hunters, as a profession, as a job. He explained the dangers, and the benefits. I was rather bored with life, so I said "why not?"

I started to learn everything regarding being a Bounty Hunter. How to pilot a ship, what kind of bounties to choose from, what setups to use, and whatnot.

Over the years, he allowed me to fly his Manta more and more frequently, that is, until his death.

He left all his posessions to me, his ship, his home, everything. So, I set out to make a living, as a Bounty Hunter.

After several years as an independant contract hunter, I was contacted by a fellow hunter of mine. He directed me to an organization called The Search/Destroy Agency.

That sounded like my kind of thing. Though, after getting my bomber, I had just started getting used to it. So, I decided I would apply later.

Well, that "later" happens to be now, so, this is my application.

Vettel, out.

OOC:

Are you willing to comply with the server rules and S/D expectations? Yes, I will, whole heartedly.
Are you willing to RP according to S/D policy, alignment and goals? Definitely.

What would your membership bring to S/D?
My presence in the S/D would probably add a little more fun, since S/D is in need of new members, and, so far, this looks very promising. In the event that it might go official, I may even help pay for it, though, I'm not bribing.

What is your RP story?
Well, my RP story is right up there.

Let us know all the other factions in which you have characters.
My characters in factions are as follows:

Reapers of Sirius - [RoS]VincentRichards[X] - Reaper
Liberty Navy - [LN]-Valence.Harper - Lieutenant
Rheinland Military - [RM]Richard.Haas and [RM]-Richard.Haas - Getfreiter
Rheinland Federal Police - (RFP)-Sven.Heinz - Hauptwachtmeister
Liberty Police Inc. - LPI-Det.Nicholas.Angel - Detective

On a side note:

Not that I am going to complain if you refuse, but, I already have a Bounty Hunter, Richard.Vettel, in his full loaded AP Bomber, and, if it's possible, if I would be able to keep that character, except, change his name to S/D-Vettel. That way, I wouldn't have to spend any more than necessary, and same for the S/D Armory.

That's all.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Cheers!

I was born on Planet Manhattan about 20 years ago, my family used to be fighters but my
father was different. He was more of a trader-sort and settled down on Mann., using the family
fortune to buy 35% of GMG. I, however, was much more like my grandfather, Jacob Stark, in
the fact that I enjoyed flying fighters. It started when I, 10 at the time, almost got assassinated
by a Liberty Rouge Dagger. When the fighter was chased off by a LPI patrol I decided that I
wanted to learn how to fly like that. when I was 12 another attempt was made on my life which
only served to strengthen my desire. My father, however, was entirely convinced that I was
going to settle down too, and he intended to make sure of it. he kept educating me in business
practices, what stocks to buy, how to calculate the risk factor of a certain stock, etc.. But about
1 week ago yet another attempt was made, but this was different. My father was there and we
were in a private shuttle going to Sigma-13 for a business meeting. The pilot paniced and ran
for the escape pod. My father tried to stop him taking the only one but it was too late, he
ejected and we were stranded about to be killed by the rouges. Now I had secretly been taking
flying lessons and had gotten pretty good at it. When I saw that the pilot was gone I rushed to
the pilot's chair. When I got there my father asked what I was doing, but I didn't have any
time to respond, I had to dodge the incoming energy blasts. After a long fight I got the best
of them and they engaged their cruise engines and ran. When we got back to Mannhattan my
father finally relented and said that if I wanted to I could become a pilot if I wished, but that he
didn't think it was very wise. needless to say I eagerly accepted and here I am.

Brian emptied the post bag onto the desk. More and more applications flooding in. Harvey picked up one from the pile.
"I've been waiting on this one. Stark. I'll process it now."
He read over the application.
"Another Liberty postmark. Well, he sounds eager, but this looks like he thinks he's joining a flight school. Ask him why he's so eager to join the Guild. Why not the LPI or the Navy? And if his family are so damn rich, why aren't they bank-rolling him?"

Harvey surveyed Biran's inbox.
"No word back from Stargazer's brother or that guy Stark?"
Brian shook his head.
"Give them time. Oh wait, this one is ready for approval."
He handed the folder to Harvey.

Later Harvey limped in to the Director's office and handed the folder to the Director.
"Got a few in the pipeline, buit said I'd bring you this one. Brian says the paperwork all checks out. This guy, Richard Vettel, did the test sitting in the lobby. Seems to know what he's doing. Experienced bomber pilot."
The Director looked over the application. He sipped his coffee.
"Okay. Recruit status confirmed. Call-sign S/D-Vettel."

First of all I have already been trained, I was merely looking for a job that would test my flying
abilities and heard this was a good place to go. Also my father's accountants go over every inch
of the family's spending to make sure this very thing doesn't happen, and if they found any
open spending on top-of-the-line fighters, weapons, etc. bad things would happen so it has to be
"under the radar" so to speak, otherwise they could blackmail him by hiring rouges, the Bounty
Hunters Guild, or possibly even you to kill me. And he can't fire them because they already have
him blackmailed on another thing, I don't know what yet. I hope you will understand.
P.S. In case you were wondering how I got trained, I had a friend who was going to an elite flying school and
was allowed to bring one friend. I asked if I could go, as there was pretty much no other way for me to
train. Needless to say it worked out.

Agent: Harvey
Location: The Doghouse
Attn: Tony Stark

Details:

If you want to "test" your flying abilities, then I suggest you try the police forces reserve or a civilian corporation. We kill people for money, for want of a better way of putting it, and I receive many applications from men with far more to put behind them than a pampered upbringing.

Your background is our main concern. We won't risk employing a person with such an obviously compicated family set-up and such strong ties to the GMG. Too complicated by far. In addition, we have enough folk from Liberty employed. I can't stand your accent.

Honestly, kid, the type of men we employ are pretty typically borderline psychopaths. This career is not for you. My advice: see some of the world and enjoy yourself. The Agency is not the place for you.

Best of luck in your future career.
