Then move them away so it doesn't look like that. Quite simple, really. Java is ridiculously OP anyway as it is. Once they start base-hugging, it's impossible to stay there for more than a minute or so without being shredded.

I suggested this change. For PvP purposes, nothing has changed. Java has as much firepower as it did before.
The difference is that now, the platforms represent the GRN's powerful position in the Taus, and the oppression of the IMG. That, and it conveniently shows Colonials who might want to dock on Java (which they shouldn't, because, well, secret diplomacy and all that) the door.
Colonials should never risk blowing the IMG's cover by being that close to Java.
The change about T23 Java GRN turrets will likely have to be undone again. The change seems to have messed up something. I am trying to get it into Update 5 and got the okay of Devs for this step.

well when you have the cataclysmicly unecessary dev time sink that is Gallia in its entirety, you cant expect areas of the game that should already be fixed, to ever be fixed.
