SHFs in general just need more firepower (2 class 10 missile pods on all models might work) to make up for how much easier they are to hit.

Except that missile pods are balanced for /one/ per ship.

Dual-sidewinder spam, or worse, sidewinder+firestalker spam would just be.. gross.

I actually -like- the currently implemented Spatial replacement model.

It's a whole lot better, and it actually looks like something that could be used for Deep Space Exploration by a multitude of different organizations.

This really isn't the place to talk about the balance of the spatial. I'm interested in getting ideas for this model, comments and concerns. If you have ideas or things you like or dislike about let me know. I've told a couple people now, besides the reverence you so often get for posting anything that is 3d, I make almost 90% of my modifications from comments I get on the forums. I think input from the community makes a much better ship, crowd sourcing ideas and all that. That's what I would like to maintain.

Neat model, but there's way too much "stuff" on it for it to be a Spatial. What's it like without all the sticky-outy bits?

Ehh - left this forum/game for a year and still this same old gaming community has not change.

Incoming Constructive Critism:

I like the base shape of it, exploratory like yet something that can stand for itself in emergency situations. However, in my opinion the model/ship don't really need a bridge. A simple one-man cockpit would look better. Second, it annoys me to see that much 'sensors' or 'antenna's' too be sticking out all over around the model. Maybe drop a few.

That's all I got to give in my point of view.

Yeah, I seem to be getting that. I was trying to go for deep space exploration so, antennas and senors to my suggested exploration. But I'l; take that into consideration on the new go over of the mode.
