While I would LOVE to see a new Brigand faction, please, just PLEASE, don't base anything you do on the +LE+. That faction was probably the furthest you could go from Brigand RP. They were basically Council mk. II only with piracy added.
If you need advice about Brigand lore and RP you can find me on skype ametviceman, I'd be glad to be of assistance.
Here's my question: Is there really enough activity in Gallia to warrant having a sizable and active Brigand faction? Will pulling more players into Gallia take attention (and fun) away from other sectors that could probably use it otherwise?
Just scanned through the posts. (Yeah, I'm one of the co-founders. ) So here I've tried to answer the points outlined in your much-appreciated feedback.
>Yes, we're going to do our best to get some activity into Gallia. (We have a plan to try out.)
>Yes, it'll be fun to RP with the GJ, and we'll see if we can make some RP between EFL, IDF, GMS and GRN, and maquis etc. If all these factions start interacting with each other, having events etc, then Gallia may come alive for once.
Sorry these random sentences are not linked up to corresponding feedback/questions, but there.
You should probably not just limit it to the taus, although I agree it's a good start, even basing piracy events within Gallia would be good, it will give the suppliers some thing to think about, including the role play opportunity, encouraging people to refute silent trading.
The Unione Corse would certainly appreciate having the inRP buddies to do all the dirty work we can't do. Seeing you work to play with the UC, GJ, and OC at the same time would be interesting as well. And I'm sure the LR factions would be interested in working with you as well.
