Unioner. Or no tag at all.

Unioner was among the tags that had been put forth. The only problem there is that they get on a touch too well with the Liberty Rogues, a faction for which the SCRA have nothing but distaste, even hatred.

No tag is very difficult to maintain without ooRP NPC farming, which I'd like to avoid.

Unless a SCRA npc faction is introduced, you're always going to have that problem. You'll have to compromise on some stuff regardless.

Yeah, but I think someone said that SCRA wouldn't get it's own tag due to repping problems or something. And is it a good idea to trouble Igiss with this? What do you lot think?

Well, I don't really know. I can only see you with Xeno or Unioner tag from the existing ones.
First time I saw you guys on my fruity Corsair, it was like : "Get lost Xenos, you should be in Liberty!11!!! :@"

Then I got used to it, and it was actually pretty fine.

Maybe add Coalition reputation that would be hostile to everyone and issued by admins?
Yeah, I know, we don't want to bother them, but it's not like you'r recruiting 10 a day.
And if Phantoms could get it, you should be able to get it too.

This is a good idea, but I'm not sure if Igiss is a fan of the idea at all. It would certainly be awesome from our point of view.

We got a new house coming and its French.

I think the SCRA would be the perfect faction to represent their main unlawful/pirate faction.

Viva la Revolucion!

I think when the French arrive, those of Russian descent in the Coalition will be commissioning a destroyer, tagged RACS-Borodino. Take that!:P

The SCRA is supposed to be the entire sector's enemy, not one house's. And we're not pirates, have never been, and if we ever get randomly attached to a house that's all we'd be good for. 1-house terrorism is like only asking your oppressors for some more bread and water: You're still slaves.

Head-biting-off over, I believe that, although it would be a little more hassle for admins and players alike, that a faction-specific tag is the only real solution. Ships are in the pipeline as well, as I'm sure most of you know, and I've just seen some demo infocards written up by the good "Commodore" O'Jovem, they're excellent. Also, for those of you (all, I hope) who read the storyline at the begining of this thread, you'll agree that "The Coalition", according to the storyline, represents a powerful force in it's own right, no longer a scre of pilots and a few battered capships floating about.

Note that it isn't just in stories that we've been strong, we've backed that up in-game as well.

I've never been a fan of 'We rock' stories unless it is backed up by how one interacts with other players.
