I agree with you, the server is way too unstable. I experience lag spikes, constant lags not only in fights but while flying as well. The server is doing very bad, I'm playing here since 2008 and I don't remember experiencing so many lags and disconnections.

I believe that the fast refire rate and the amount of the weapon platforms affects the handling of the server.

Yeah, the lf guns are ridiculous, can't argue with that. Do they cause lag? I don't know.

Lag has been introduced as a measure to combat ini hacking.

They used to. I remember when transport could mount them. Now imagine 4x Shire with 12x 16.67 turrets.

Whatever. It's obvious that more projectiles cause more lag.
