Ok Scumbag, indulge me for a moment, as one who has had a little experience in how the development process has worked in the past, and bearing in mind the current economy situation has taken several years to get to get to this point.
How exactly are you going to change it ?
Please give me an example of what you consider to be a simple and illogical commodity, how you'll go about improving or lowering
its profitability, and how and where you intend to move all of it's selling points.
Just to put my mind at rest ...
Some say he is a proud member of: "The most paranoid group of people in the Community."
How about we start with the majority of the metals? I mean the ones being sold only in Gallia. I don't find any logic in those things being sold only there. And magnets, for example...
There are also a few points I'm interested in addressing, specifically in that I'd like to hear the overall explanation as to why that route is being chosen:
Quote:Overall profits will be lowered
why, necessarily? In what way? And in what form? Are you thinking to make Ores sell for less? finished goods more? Contraband actually reflect the pricing nature of contraband?
Quote:Trade routes will have maximum profitability for inter house trading at an average of 15 min/run
Maximum profitability in terms of overall sell price should be based on both lore, faction RP, and distance traveled.
15 minutes seems a bit on the small side, and I honestly don't want to turn every house or corporate run into a 15-minute milkrun. Trips to the Omicrons should pay out more for commodities that would be in demand out there (i.e. food, luxury goods, stuff from Gallia) Stuff from Rheinland should sell higher in Liberty, considering the state of war between the two. Same with goods between Gallia and Sirius. Prometheum should sell high at Sirius research labs, based on scarcity. Iridium should sell high everywhere but the Omicrons, etc.
Simple. Why is the highest sellpoint for gold ore at the IC base in New Tokyo?
Why are sellpoint in Dabadoru Omicron Delta, for commodities only sold in Gallia?
Why don't the police stations and border stations sell criminals?
I can go on but i really don't have to explain myself. I want to work on the economy with others who share the same principles. The only think that can come out of it is a better economy or improvements for the existing one. I ask again, please remove messages that don't have anything to do with the point of this thread.
