I own roughly about 5 billion in assets...2 heavy cloaks, few light ones, 2 cau 8s , 1 cau7, 2 cau 6 ,2 GBs, 3 cruisers, 2 battlecruisers and 2 dreadnoughts and dozens of snubs with codes and atleast six transports...and still trading...^^

In my opinion there are/were ways of making money that are/were far too fast and easy.

It used to be around 3-4 billions, but then my chars got inactivity-wiped and now I have a fighter left (probably) and down to 30 mills or so.

I've probably got around 100 million in liquid cash total. Maybe a few millions more. 120 maximum. It is enough for my needs.
I voted for the 100 - 500 million option. I suppose assets don't count?
Because my assets are a lot, a lot more worthy. I can tell you a whole story of how worthy, and how could that even happen to a bloke who hates making money as I do.
Shortly - friends.
The longer version:
Some 3 years ago, my first capital ship ever, a Bullhead (Bounty Hunter battlecruiser), got sanctioned. My first player kill ever, some pirate transport, was also my first sanction ever, and hopefully the last. My Bullhead got all her guns removed. You might be wondering why didn't I say "my lovely Bullhead", and that's because I didn't like the ship very much.
At the same time, however, I was gathering money for a Bretonian battleship. I used to trade in Bretonia, so I got fond of it. I was missing closely the same amount of money as I would get if I sold the Bullhead.
So, on August the 6th 2011 (probably, but it's also possible that it was July the 31st), I was proud to have such a... well... uh... appetite-rising ship as the Dunkirk (whenever I see her, I want to eat sea food for some reason). She had a CAU 5.
Almost a year after that, a single battleship wasn't enough for my appetite. I wanted more. And in the meantime, I've seen how profitable mining could be. Almost entirely by my own, without selling any ships, taking a meager loan of some 50 - 100 million, I've bought a Jormugand sometime in August 2012. She had a CAU 6.
But my Dunkirk still had a CAU 5, I think. It didn't take too many days to earn enough for a 6. My timing was wrong, though.
A friend of mine quit Disco for some time, and he gave me an Osiris and a Valor for safekeeping. I used the Osiris to help another friend of mine to farm some Nomads to build some cloaks or whatever in Rayburn station, his POB. It seems I was effective, since he awarded me with a whole new CAU 8. He was insanely, hugely, vastly, indescribably rich. There was also some funny story about the particular money he gave me, but I forgot it.
So, now I had a CAU 8 Dunkirk, a CAU 6 Jorm, my friend's CAU 8 Osiris and the same friend's CAU 8 Valor.
But my friend returned. He needed cash and he wasn't too good at capitals, so as soon as I returned the Osiris and the Valor, he sold them. I liked both ships, though.
One day a certain Nikita, called Reptile on this forums, offered to buy me a Rheinland battleship, so I could help his raids of Liberty. Since I didn't like those very much, I asked for a Valor, and he accepted. But he was only obliged to buy me a CAU 6 and the ship itself, so I bought all the guns. Now when I had 3 battleships, I couldn't bother myself to do something as boring as mining, so I needed quite some time to buy the 48 million forward gun. But it was bought. Thus, the mighty Tonnant was born.
Some time later, the previously mentioned friend quit again, but he didn't intend to return now. So he gave me his CAU 8 Legate. Since I didn't know what to do with it, I sold the CAU 8 for 700 million to Bloogal, I think, and bought a CAU 6 and an Osiris. I also bought a secret transport class ship and her CAU, but I won't reveal the name. It's neither against server, nor courtesy rules, I just like to stay anonymous sometimes.
I shared the Tonnant some time before that, and got a few ships shared with me in return.
Most of what I had got recycled. I can't remember what happened to my Dunkirk's original CAU 5, but I am sure my Shire's CAU 6 was on my Dunkirk before. I think I gave the 5 to someone, but I'm not sure...
Currently, I have:
- 1 CAU 8 Dunkirk;
- 1 CAU 6 Jormugand;
- 1 CAU 6 Valor (I share her);
- 1 CAU 6 Osiris (I share her);
- 1 CAU 6 Shire;
- 1 CAU (hidden) (unknown transport class ship);
- 2 AU 8 bombers (1 Eclipse is shared);
- 2 AU 8 fighters;
- 1 HAU 2 Bactrian;
- 1 old /restart freelancer Stiletto made for watching Texas pews;
- 1 HAU 1 Armored Transport, which I am going to give to a friend who'll be starting Disco soon;
- Access to 1 CAU 6 Redemption;
- Access to 1 who-knows-what-crap-of-a-CAU-or-AU turtle;
- Access to BAF shared accounts, including the bank, muahahaha!;
- I probably forgot something.

I suppose I'll have to address myself aswell...

I have more than 5 billion worth of ships, probably around 6-7 billion spent on them. I have 6 battleships, four 5ker transports, and the occasional bomber and fighter. The battleships are mostly fully equipped with bs scanners and CAU8, and some with Jumpdrive IV's. Even though I don't play, I log in on my characters to keep them from wiping. Some of my ships are years old.

And in cash...let's just say I could buy all of my assets from myself and some more. I need to count them.
