" Hmmmm, it would be nice to have a grill party in the omicrons, with the nomads as the main course" He smiles. " Now that I think about it, I'd rather not try to taste them. Who knows what those things may contain." His nervousness seems to be gone by now, the whiskey did it's job, and her friendly tone calmed him down.
" I wonder what would happen, if I'd go to gallia once. Maybe some people would recognize me... Though, I don't think I count as an old pirate. Not like I remeber anything about my past... which reminds me..... did you come up with a name for me?" he winks at her, and then sips a bit from his drink.
"A Grill party in Omicrons... Good idea except Nomads"
Luci chuckles and looks in his eyes.
"You should try Gallia, if you want to find out who you are. And about your name... It must be something special... What about .... Dominique? At least untill you will find out your real name?"
" Something similar happened at Toledo. It looked as if somebody left the sausages on the grill. So my idea might not be that great." He replies in a rather cold voice.
"Finding out who am I.... I'd rather not do that. I'll think of it as a somewhat clean start. Who knows.... I might've been a horrible person....or a seducer" he grins. " Or both."
"Hmmmmm.....Dominique.... And then... my nickname would be Domi, or Nick?" He smiles. "Sounds good. And, What shall I do for you, in exchange for the name I've got?" He asks in a cheerful tone.
"A drink for a name. It's definitely worth it for me. Getting a name, and having the chance to spend some time with a charming lady such as yourself." He replies, and takes a sip from his drink. He can't help it, seeing her smile also makes him do so.
" As for the name, it's perfect. I like it very much." He smiles at her, looks in her eyes. "I should've asked for something more than just a name" he mumbles, but she could hear it.
Luci blushes a bit, but she stays calm and relaxed.
"Thank you for compliment... I'm glad you like your name, but one thing remains in my mind... 'I should've asked for something more than just a name' ... What is it about?"
"Did I say that aloud?" He laughs nervously. " I'm not even sure what I wanted with that..." He sighs, but then coughs up what he wanted. " I would be honoured, if you would accompany me to a restaurant." He asks, in a rather shy tone.
"Restaurant?" Luci was quite surprised, but she liked his offer."Sooo... I would like to accept your offer, Domi" She smiled at him and made a short sip from her glass.
" You would like to? That didn't sound very convincing."He replies calmly, taking a sip from his drink. Then he keeps the glass in his hands, and moves it in a circular motion, and watches the movement of the ice cubes.
A minute later, something came to his mind. " Or, if that isn't suitable for you.... then I could cook too. That's something I haven't forgotten, surprisingly. And there is a kitchen in the apartment I've rented here in Rochester." He says. One would rather call that "apartment" a room with a bit of expansion, so that one could cook.
"So you would like to surprise me?" Luci giggles as she imagines him cooking in the kitchen ."Why not? Do you have anything in mind for dinner? Or is that a surprise?" She winks and takes another sip, still looking into his eyes.
