Hello there chaps, this is Ex-Major Lord Sir Reginald Notworthy the Third. I've been serving the Queen in one form or another since I was Twelve, and joined Her Majestey's Ship Rustigouche as a Marine Ensign. Since then, I've fought the Queen's enemies on all fronts of the Empire for more than fourty years, and I'm proud to say that I've decided to do it again. Those Yellow Heathens will regret the day they ever besmirched the name of the Queen!
I've previously served as a privateer in several capacities, most notably under Baron James Hifflesnorp, back in '98, fighting the good fight against those bloody corsairs, as well as leading my own merry band, "Lord Notworthy's Irregulars", in '03. Just before the current conflict with our squinty friends to the north, my son, Reginald Notworthy the fourth, was rather involed in the banking and bounty hunting firm of BR&N. Bruin and Rothschild, the other major partners, were either assasinated or disapeared to avoid the same, and Reggie asked me for help. In order to preserve the family line, I took the liberty of taking a temporary leave from the Queen's Service. For the past while, we've been rattling around, fighting injustice and adding to the old family treasury, but now that the Contract on Reggie has expired, he's setting up shop back on the Family estates on Cambridge, with a small post on the holdings in New London.
Now, as I've been rather a free agent most of my Naval career, including several personal favours for the House of Lords, and another for the Duke of Cambridge that I'm sure is priviledged information, I believe I shall be re-entering the Armed Forces as a Privateer, under the excellent direction of Sir Andrew Stuart. Although I've not met the man, I've been assured that he is a man of the finest calibre.
In addition, my son, Reggie the Fourth, has requested letters of Marque for his personal vessel, the "Liverpool Packet". He has some rather irregular experience, and some novel tactics perfectly suited to the long-range nature of the privateers.
Well, there we are, I'm sure I can still fir into the old uniform. Where do I show up?
For Queen and Country! Lord Sir Reginald Notworthy III.

Also, get McKrecken back here! We need someone to cook us up some omellettes on board the Queen's Ransom, seeing as this stolen Kusari food is buggering up my good health!
