What is in your opinion the best Bomber/Gunboat? Vote

Hehe Red cat i have to admit is the best bomber. But I don't have one...

Corsair GB thou, pwns all! up untill the battle cruiser. I even have one solo battleship kill in it. 8 turrets offer you cruiser like firepower... at the same time you are still small enough to dodge.

BH Gunship is again a good option, but it's not a fair choice, as it's unbalanced. but it is great nevertheless. I'd rather engage a BH destroyer than GS one on one...

Red catamaran is sold in the BD guard system, only blood dragons should have one... So it's far from free for all.

Nomad bomber better then Cat? How come? It's actually very easy to hit it in chase fight, while it's less agile, lousier turning and 1 less gun/turret.
It's also 48k bomber, same as Catamaran.
So I fail to see any big advantage of the Nomad bomber over a Catamaran.

For example, one could say that Taiidan/Snubnose are better then Catamaran, since they have some advantages over it.
But to be honest, in 48k bomber class, there is no ship that is even close to Cat.
Same is for Taiidan/Snubnose in 58k class.

As for GB's, I'v heard people can do miracles in Rogue GBs and IMG GBs, as well as in lunchbox but only vs capital ships.

Corsair GB doesn't pwn all.. My BHG gunship with it's 3 razors and 3 infernos beats the crap out of them (provided the corsair GB doesn't have a pure anti-capship loadout..).

I -love- the Kusari gunboat. agile, esthetic, it reminds me of a fast attack boat and a sword at a same time. Perhaps one of the best concept in FL ships.

For the bomber I can say Catamaran with no doubts. The GB part is a bit tougher to decide though.

Indeed, i have a my LH GS with 4 SOLARIS and 2 dragonflies and i took down a taiidian grouped with some other bomber...almost got SNed to death but i still got them heh...and then Assgard killed me. That ship is no use against a GB with that loadout.

I've got a kusari GB set up with 2 solaris + 2 kusari missile turrets, and the forward gun. Been able to take out red cats with it solo, and taken out several cruisers solo... I cant seem to do anything to other gunboats though, they're too manuverable for my forward gun.

I prefer the lib GB myself, although I am fond of the IMG one as well. I can't comment on the bombers, as I've not flown many of the new ones since I got back.

Dunno about bombers, since I don't like to fly them, but the good ol' 'sair Lunchbox really is fun. The BHG GS, though, is probably better. It's TINY, practically the size of a bomber, with the handling to match.
