Lets try and keep discussion civil here.
@KingG Although the idea sounds nice, I think I'd rather see an event that focuses less on RP context and more on a straight out pew.

My suggestion: Something like Total Theta Terror, but in Delta. People fould be able to reengage in this way: I die with faction A ship, logs faction B ship and die, logs faction A again (but other ship) or C, then I die in A or C and log B (other ship) or D... Understand? (I would be able to log many times for same faction, just with another ship, except.. for example.. Core|A.B, then Core|A'B, then Core|A.B~ and so on.. no zombie event..) I think Delta is the best way. Close to Corsairs, AI, Nomads, Core.

Also all into Nomads first.. or they will get ganked again and again like allways :D

In simple, make that event! ;)

Sounds like a good idea so far, I'll mull it over too.

I think that people should come with nommies at the end. It would make more sense for them to wipe out what's left rather than make a frontal attack against battle-ready human fleet.

What about some kind of Bounty Hunter hazardous materials convoy thing? There's loads of infocard stuff about the Core transporting and experimenting with nomad bits, but people rarely do it in game (primarily 'coz the lonelycrons are pew-rich space) but an organised event can have the potential for squishy-blue-stuff-filled transports with escort wings and stuff...

Uhh no thanks. I remember what happened the last time. Poor nomads got ganked badly. I'd like that to be avoided to happen again.

Hmm.... yea that's a good one too. But i thought of this:

The Core and The Order prepare their fleets. They both meet somewhere and have a Role Play clash (no fight) then suddenly a nomad fleet comes by and starts the fight shooting at the Humans. Core and Order unite their forces to fight the threat. If humans win and there are still survivors on both sides, Core and Order one of them will back stab another. If not...well who cares? It's all about the fun in the first place, right?

Oh boy... Another case of "OH LEWK, AWIENS, WE FWIENDS NAO"

The Core and the Order sides both have enough forces to take on a full-blown nomad force on their own, no need for the tired-as-hell uniting thing

And in regards to the idea of a Omicron pew: yuuush

I'm down, standby, I'll commense the summoning ritual of the squid worshipers

The Order? IRP? At this very moment? Nah. They've lost too many ships in the battle in Minor. They barely get to have 6/7 (or even less) Capital ships left....so no,i'm sure they can't face a "Full-blown nomie force" on their own.

Plus, what i'm trying do with my idea is bring some of the good old times back. But of course, that doesn't depend on me only.

Not talking inrp for the number of ships, i'm well aware of cap numbers inrp

What I'm talking about is the number of people that are likely to log order caps, compared to the number of Core and Nomads/nomad allies

Odds put all 3 parties on about even footing

Ergo: theres no real reason for parties that otherwise hate eachother to buddy up "power of friendship" style

...*shudders*
