I must say that I did not like Dark Brotherhood in Morrowind... Camonna Tong for ever. Too bad that was one of the few factions that player could not join (I don't see a reason why Dark Elves cannot join Camonna Tong).

But about the Morrowind, whole Crassus Curio thing was the most ridiculous and funny line of quests ever (I literally jaw-dropped when I was playing back in 2006 and I had to... undress for him and give him a kiss... LMAO). Bethesda, why do not make more characters like that?

Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of playing Morrowind, as I was about 4 when it was released and so I started on Oblivion. With how far I've come in The Elder Scrolls, I don't think I need to play Morrowind anyway since everything I really want/need to know can be derived from the wiki. Plus, I think I'd just find it outdated.

Buuuuut then again, that didn't stop me from trying Daggerfall, so who knows?

Morrowind was amazing! Really difficult to get into, but once you were sucked in by the story it might have been the best TES game.

Mods for Skyrim are great. I use a lot of them, but the biggest ones are Frostfall and Skyrim Redone that adds a bunch of new stuff and changed mechanics all round. I'd definitely recommend both (especially Skyrim Redone).

Morrowind is kinda different game than Skyrim or even Oblivion. It is more slow paced game, don't expect much action here (and note that you are not even able to stand against guards in the early game). It is outdated, sure, but due to the lack of voice acting, everything is written down, so NPCs have a lot to say about, unlike the Ob/Sky ones.

I liked Morrowind for one thing: Vvardenfell is a way different and unique biome than rest of the Tamriel, recalling most of the classic fantasy worlds (vide: Skyrim and Cyrodiil).

Oh, and due to the forementioned lack of voice acting, Morrowind is way better in adding additional quest, because in Oblivion and Skyrim, NPCs were just dumb and have not spoken even a letter, what annoys me, when I modded Oblivion. :| Morrowind is way better, when it comes to the new quests, adventures or even, if you are patient enough, you can make a whole new game without "hiring" voice actors (someone even managed to copy step by spet Gothic II's map into Morrowind).

I didnt play olders, I knowed the game in Skyrim and... after some years... it still installed !!!

After reach lvl70, i installed some mods (Dawngard, DragonBorn and HearthFires), I love them! overall building your own house in Falkreath! omg... its a mansion now!. Married, with 2 daughters, Lydia as scort... I love to go hunting with Lydia, and playing with my daughters around the house! hahahahaha.

Also, I use another 2 mods more, Horses for friends and Better Nights. With these 2 mods, its AWESOME to call Lydia, pick up our horses and go on DARK NIGHTS hunting, that Better Nights mod... create really night effect! soooo dark around and really scared to have only your torch for lighting hehehe.

Skyrim forever!!!

Yeah, I'm hunting for GOTY edition for X360 in my place. Hell, it's 170PLZ (about 50 bucks), but it is worth it.
