these misinterpreting this post. Do not make this post because I want to smuggle safe or trade legally safe simply because there is no legal base to remove the possibility of trade, thus the only thing that is done is that legal factions do role play because it just not doing their job as precursors to maintain law and order in their systems. then as it is easier to PREVENT smugglers or traders jump, do .. and the precursor of this idea was you, maybe because you did not have the skill to prevent a smuggler you escape to try to stop it ..

Measures adminsitrativas server? Restrict areas where they can perform jumps (planets, bases NPCs) in this way only could jump systems in areas who are "uninhabited"

Giving traders the ability to jump will not make them easier for lawfuls to catch.
I'm suprised the admins are still allowing Junkers to jump trade.

really are an airhead .. the 820 A. S. Really think this date the technological ability of corporations (which are the building and design these devices) only give them military and non-commercial use? you really are an airhead. just think of your self-centeredness in saying that "facilitates smuggling" I will not keep wasting time with you, I hope the response of a board administrator really explain me Role Play and the legal basis that it was decided to take this action.

bad? for what reason? Shield is lost when the device is used, Easily can be hacked to reach the destination .. Or in the case of legal factions Easily can stop smugglers .. There is no logical reason for that change.

Jump trading is much fun for those who have worked to get that ability. Apparently, everything we do on this server has to benefit someone else, even if they're your enemy. Its not bad, its just that some don't get involved, they only want to attack traders by waiting along trade lanes in the same spot for hours.

People very quickly forget how much 'interaction' was provoked by the existence of jumpdrives being a goal to be achieved. All the normal trading you do gets dismissed easily by players because you don't want to continue always being their potential target. I ignore these kind of opinions.

To me this is like sea pirates complaining people learned how to fly. How dare they! There's always plenty of conventional shipping, by junkers and non junkers alike. Without the ability to jump out pscrap like that, the bases that hold sellable scrap would jam up and all of the economic options of having a system of being able to mine and store commodities (by a highly active scrapping population) would grind to a hault.

I'm a pirate, I can't even pirate Junkers (one of the most often seen traders) and I have still found plenty to pirate, without a bomber at that. Some people think they're supposed to get half a dozen kills a day in their bombers. Their need to get constant kills and bounties trumps your desire to develop your ships and in game affairs it seems.

It's irrelevant how technologically advanced we are and what not. I don't care for your logic or reasoning. The fact of the matter is that jump trading is toxic to the level of interaction on the server. There is no reasoning to prove otherwise.
And please, refrain from insults, it doesn't help your argument.

Like it or lump it, this is a dead issue. You can still jump trade ships that are 3.6k initial cargo space or smaller. That actually tends to force more "interaction" by requiring more players to move the same amount of cargo.

There are holes in both sets of logic, and the two sides are about as intractable as the United States congressional parties in supporting their positions.

For those of us that provide value added hardware, we have gotten used to scheduling runs when we need to by trying to coordinate having a bunch of players involved in the jump. Usually, that is for items that are only sold in one place, bulky or have enormous requirements.

Of course, to me, the hilarious thing is that people insist on telling me that 5 people, physically found on 3 or 4 continents, involved in that jump is not "interaction", even when they constitute one sixth of the point in time server population, but a one on one with a pirate and a transport is "interaction".
