Whatever they say, the shape is quite successful. Would be a pleasure to fly such a thing, in case it would have balanced stats. I also hope that buffed SCRA will somehow improve activity in Omegas.

A comparison between Insurgent to Guardian. Doesn't seem too big to me, to be honest. Maybe a slightly longer nose, but that's pretty much about it.

Yeah, see how satisfied SCRA players are with their SOVIET(wut-wut?) tech?
And, beside silly jokes, you perfectly know what it means to be slow in this game. It means to be brought down fast. Be you newb or greatly-skilled, tech matters. Everything matters.
As a side-note: SCRA != communism, they are socialists. Same went to USSR, once you're mentioning it.

Please Note Sanc, we have been pretty much begging for faster ships for as long as I can remember.

Here are two concepts that incorporate those desired vertical wings. I should say that i like the models i made some months ago 1000x better - but sadly they exceeded the polygon limitations. Those meshes are fairly crude and blocky but maybe they ll do

If such a mesh is being used - you ll run into pretty much the same "problems" you had with Xings first batch of models. - Those models are fairly large. From the side - at least as large as the AP line BHG snubs - but more massive from the front, too - and not much shorter.
But before that thread gets no concepts - there you are.

On the other hand, Gaians require a rather new class ship for Chammy, due to the card, in which it would be able to have VHF weps, huge agility BUT weak armor and able to mount class 8/9 shields, due to the specific nature of their warfare.
