How do you determine your starting cash?
Also, is there any restriction on switching ships? Meaning you have to dock on the station that a ship is to change to it.

I started without cash, as you can see. If you want to try this yourself, you might as well start with a few million credits to get a fighter or something. And not sure whether or not the switching thing should be that important. I would suppose you have some sort of picked base of operations, but I do not think it would be necessary.
