Gonna keep it short and sweet here.
I've had some of my best encounters in NY with you guys, but also some of the worst.
It balances out, but still with a tip towards the better direction, because I know what your peeps are capable of if they want to do something.
As mentioned above, the 5th have come a long way, but just like any other faction, mind you, there is always room for improvement. That and weeding out indesirable members and replacing them with new ones.
EDIT: What the 5th more or less associates with me is basically scooping up newbies in capital ships and giving them the basics. Mostly, because none of the official factions around NY can ''lower themselves to work with complete newbies in caps''. You are doing a good job at it.

Really don't need the insults. For the most part the 5th fleet is a bona-fide Liberty faction, with excellent RP. Every faction will some problems with it's playerbase, purely because hey, everyone's human. The point is, we're dealing with this, and whatever you're accusing the /entire/ faction of, is clearly the fault of a couple members. We run regular tests to ensure an updated knowledge of the rules for all members, and referring to this incident you're talking about is being dealt with internally. And shall continue to be dealt with as such. What KingG has said to you is not endorsed by the admirality and as I've already said, is being dealt with internally.
As a final note, I ask that you look around you at the discovery universe, and show me a perfect faction, without any "lolwuts" in its history. The point is, there are none, and I would ask that you do not judge the integrity of the fleet based on the actions of the few.
The explanation KingG and Fuski gave it quite sound tbh. When 5th started it was basically just a bunch of organized lolwuts under a tag and they made me hate visiting Liberty just. However, as they've grown, they've transformed into something much better. A secondary fleet group that's pleasant to interact is rare, and I am thus grateful for the 5th in a way. These people who have taken their tag pass and are putting the faction down need to be removed from Disco.
I've only met you guys once, and that was an extreme example of ... idk what, when my poor transport got surrounded by 2 dreads and a siege cruiser ... making up something that never actually happened and fined me for flying a LH IDd empty transport ... the funny thing was that I just logged in, and had to run into this. It wasn't bad, but meh ... another day in Capberty And then almost asking a BHG ID Liberty GB to chase me through half o' Texas ...
I have absolutely no idea who those guys were, (got ss at home) but I felt like you were a little overdoing , not to talk about the unneeded owerpowering in said scenario ...

To be correct actually Protege, LNS and LSF capital ships have been in the Omicrons many many times, before Toledo even fell, the LNS would raid Omicron Minor 24/7 with their fleets and even the Primaries joined them.
Its not odd for the LNS to be in the Omicrons, as a matter of fact I think its fun they are every now and then for the RP sake of it. And Titan is right, rather then just sit boredly in New York with your LNS, why not do some actual stuff? I mean raid the Omicron 99? Sure why not, I mean everybody and their grandma's do it, and visa versa as well.
If they 5th have yet to get in trouble with raiding 99/Iota with their LNS or snubs, I don't see the major problem of them doing it. And this is coming from the guy who flew a nomadic indy VHF against their two dreadnaughts up in 99 and it was fun, they put up a fight, so did we, it sparked some K'Hara activity for a bit as well
Also personal note, I'm damn impressed recently with the 5th's work in Liberty, if it was not for Cincinnati a few times, I would of been dead to this reattacking Outcast Destroyer, so keep up the good work
Raiding omicrons with LNS makes about the same amount of sense as raiding NY with Corsairs. Both are completely and utterly nonsensical. LNS have no business in Omicrons whatsoever, at least I don't see it in the writeup or in LN ID.

I have my own opinion about the Primaries, but I cannot for the love of me understand why would they do it. Everyone listed (maybe except LSF) have literally nothing to do in the Omicrons.

F1 -> Select New Character. This is kind of the point of having the option to use multiple characters. You generally don't, or at least shouldn't, see people waaay outside their ZoI with caps doing lolwut raids. If they wanted to do something productive, they could, I dunno, raid Rheinland instead? Makes sense and is somehow justified, even if it would out to be just a raid for pews.
Omicrons are meant to be isolated space that is not under the influence of any house and LNS raiding inside o99 or Zeta make no sense whatsoever.

And, this reminds me, don't consider this post as a flame on the 5th as a whole. I generally try not to judge faction by single members. Unless they gank me 8v1, hint hint LN. It happened, I expressed my displeasement, argumented my position, EOT.
